March 1was my day. First day was tough. Able to stay second day. Walked as much as I could. Everyone said that would help. At two week checkup I lost 18lbs. Easiest loss of my life because just not hungry. Learning to listen to my body n slow down. need to walk more regularly. Best thing I've ever done for myself....so far
Someone once told me " you can do anything afraid you can do unafraid " you just have to want it! So you are 52? Why not triple the years you have left and do this for you and your children. I wanted to see my grandchildren I'm 41. I'm 2 weeks out down 18 lbs since surgery. 59 total. Liquid diet is hard. Surgery is uncomfortable. New eating habits take time. You owe it to yourself and your kids to try. We have all had every single one of your fears and I'm here on the flipside saying. You can do this. You can succeed!
