At 4 weeks, by doctor advanced me to the Pureed Phase, which consisted of foods which are the consistency of Cottage Cheese and in the amount of 1 1/2 ounces for each meal. I ate things like Greek Yogurt, Cottage Cheese, Refried Beans.....and of course the wonderful Ricotta Bake!

I went at 3 weeks out, which accounted for my 2 week and 1 month and then don't go back until August 15, which will be my 3 month appointment.

That is how the Atkins diet calculates them. -
Bufflehead, I go to the same surgeon as you and they said that the program they use has the least complications. It is unfortunate that there are so many different programs people have to follow, it makes things so confusing.

I found it to be kinda slow, I lost 26 before and as of 3 days ago had lost 26 after...only 30 more to go..so we'll see how quick it goes..... -

I have had it for awhile and I take Ropinirole, luckily it hadn't got worse since after surgery but the med is horrible on your stomach after surgery. -

The nurse who assisted me in the hospital said that the removed stomach is about the size of a condom. -

The only kind of protein shake I can stomach is Atkins ...I have tried all others and can't stand them. -
I have been using MFP for awhile now and when I adjust the intake, after surgery, to the numbers my doctor suggested, even going under custom settings it will skew other numbers and won't stay at what I have set. Does anyone know how to fix it so I can personalize all the settings?

I found that it was right after I ate. My first attempt to eat Peanut Butter and Egg Salad, after I ate it my stomach began to feel a little queasy and a weird feeling in my mouth. So far, that is the only bad reaction I have had from eating....**knock on wood** -

Unfortunately all doctors seem to create a different nutritional program and it is usually based on what has worked best for them. I was in the hospital 2 days and was on full liquids once I left the hospital.
