    Is this normal? Help!

I know it isn't much help towards you not hurting but what you described in both instances, I experienced. I slept in my recliner for the first week and on several pillows for a couple more. The sore throat will get better as you take in more liquids.

    Subway?

I eat the double chicken chopped salad at least once a week. It does last me 3-4 meals so very economical. I love that you can go on their website, enter exactly what you want to eat and it gives all the nutritional value. I printed out my salad so I could keep tract of it on Lose It and also give it to my husband when it is his turn to go pick it up

If you have an iPhone or ipad there is a program called "eat slower". It makes a sound when you can take a bite. You set it for whatever length you need to. I used it a lot until I was out about 5 weeks.
