I still find it funny when I find myself finally getting hungry and sitting down to eat and after 5 or 6 bites I am done. I have been traveling all week so I have been eating out and they keep bringing me these huge plates of food. I am at the point now I tell them to only bring the meat. I get the strangest looks but just assure them nothing else will get eaten, ever.

even though I forgot my lifting belt in the car I pushed through a huge squat/deadlift superset workout with a Tabatta style rotating staircase circuit to finish it off.

I have used the fitbit but got bored quickly with it and gave it away. Just read an article that they are over 25% inaccurate. If it helps motivate you great but certainly don't define your exercise by them.

3rd world meat, not friendly to humans at all! Lunch meat should be a huge no no.

Talking about the bottle Isopure? I love that stuff. Grape is my favorite. I just dilute it so it lasts longer.

I have excess skin on my stomach but still have pronounced abs. It is my reminder of what I was and I embrace that. Extreme weight loss participants are VSG patients as well.

I was 340 lbs when my journey started, 316 at surgery. I have lost over 160 but have gained over 30 lbs of muscle. It totally can be done. I sit pretty ripped at 190 lbs. -
One of my favorites "Beast". Dead lift to burpee to squat thrusters 10,9,8.7.6.5.4.3.,2,1 set counts of each. Total killer.

Truthfully these settings on the machine are nonsense. Do this. 220 minus your age. That equals your absolute highest heart rate. Then times that by 40%, this would be the heart rate suggested for someone just starting to work out. From there you can go up as you get "better" and more fit until you reach the 85% of your max which would be your max cardio heart rate before going anaerobic. -
Never settle for off brand. The price was nice but it doesn't work. Take it back and get a fitbit.

Watching my body change and seeing how fat I can push it. I am amazed at how I look now and want to see more. More importantly though, I am one of the fittest people I know. -
Well ya, that rack is sweet. Lol... I will see if I can find it again but I found one with muscle up rings, dead lift rack, squat rack, pull up bar, bench and bar with 235# of bumpers for $599

Fiddle, you can get a decent rack for $300 ish new. Maybe not a rogue or triton but not sure you need that. Bumpers are cheap at dicks sports. The bar however..... You pay for quality.

Try the 5X5 method. Google it and you will see. Basically adding 5 lbs to everything each week over 12 weeks. Doing squats 3 times a week and big leg days 2 times a week. Low rep high weight will get you back up there. Might put on a lot of muscle with it but that's ok!

Fiddle, you should be good with that heart rate. Maintaining it for a long time and fatiguing the muscle is what matters. You were in your aerobic range, lower portion but still there. Try tweaking it a little to get closer to 150.

Bending bullets. Lol 220 minus your age is typically your cap HR. When you are fit enough going above it for short bursts is not bad but can be if held for extended periods. A problem I have, I have no issues pushing slightly above my max. When I am doing my workouts for time I won't wear my HRM so I don't know and can't look. Might slow down if I do, can't have that.

You will have a hard time on a liquid diet pre op. It is hard post op. If it were easy non if is would have needed surgery. Cut calories by 500 a day, up your water and exercise. Keep your carbs at or below 40 if you can. 10 lbs in 2 weeks is a lot.

Why would I cycle something my body naturally produces? Do your own research and listen to professionals. Understanding what the body uses for energy (ATP) and how your body makes it will help immensely with these types of topics. Creatine has come a LONG way. A lot of creatines won't bloat you like they used to.

There are really no mixed results with creatine. Simply put the body can not make enough for a very active fitness oriented person. Supplementing 5mg a day is a sure way to reap its benefits. Study how and what the body uses for energy. You (everyone) should supplement this forever! No cycling needed.
