Long story short I was having such bad gas pain that I couldnt breath. Went to the er and bought myself an overnight. So frustrated I dont know what I did wrong. I was told that they see a spot on my catscan that they want to look at. So antibiotics and a dye test in the morning. Kinda nervous because I never have a fever and today I did. I keep thinking I made a mistake and what if this is some kind of infection and itt doesn't end well? Anyone else have a similar complication?

Feeling 100 times better. Stayed the night in the hospital but was met in the er by three surgeons that work with the dr I use. Very reassuring. Minimal gas pain now got down a 11oz protein shake before class. Drank about 16oz crystal light lemonade and a healthy choice fudge bar after class. Didnt feel full but not hungry either. This is day 6 of post op

Should be going home later today. They saw something on the CT Scan that they explained as "postoperative swelling" it was explained that sometimes lymphnodes get inflammed and that its going to pass. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Not sure why but I am sticking to just sugar free jello and some propel water. Is there anything else I should try? I am nervous about over doing it.

Oh man this is terrible almost hard to breath. How long did it take to get rid of it?

Anyone postop have any low left back pain? Im on day three and had my sleeve on tuesday and have a terrible cramping pain in my low left back. Im thinking gas?

Anyome else have or having really bad low left back pain? Im sure its gas but not 100% I walked around costco today and feel like I ran a marathon. Gonna take a rest and see if it goes away. Ouuuuuchhhhh

Last night I had to get out of bed and sleep sitting up on the couch due to some incredible low left back pain. Could this be gas? Today it's hard to breath and I feel like there is a big gas bubble in my upper belly area. Is this normal? I was sleeved on Tuesday and I have been walking for the most part since the surgery so I don't think that I am stiffening up. I also hear a lot of gurgling and churning....should I drink some more or does that mean that I'm full?

Well surgery yesterday went well. Little sore but thats to be expected. Not as bad as I thought though. Walked a bit yesterday and did a few laps this morning around the unit. So far so good though.

Doing well thanks. Walking and sipping my 1 ounce an hour. Thanks

So excited that today is the day, also a bit nervous but I'm completely confident in my surgeon and being in the medical field for about eighteen years now I tend to think I understand a bit more than the typical patient. Well wish me luck everyone. See you on the other side after I leave the old me behind.

So I've been on preop diet for around 2 weeks and my sleeve is scheduled for the 14th. Getting weary though from eating the same thing. Ugh. It's week is gonna be a long one.
