My surgery date was February 11, 2013 and due to not be able to use insurance I struggled with the cost and decided to go have the surgery in Tijuana, Mexico to the cost of $4500.00. I did save a lot of money, but I would not recommend the clinic I used, however, the doctor was great. He was my only saving grace from the whole experience.

My weigh-in weight was 240 and as of today I have lost 17 lbs, but I am constantly hungry at least every 2 hrs. Most of the people I talked with prior to the surgery said they were never hungry after the surgery, but after reading some of the forum post I see there are other people that are hungry too.

I can say after the surgery once the drain tube was removed I had draining in that spot for about 2 days, but it was not bad. I never had any other issues with my incisions. However, 2 weeks post op I did get sick one day and vomited which afterwards I have had left side pain for about 5 days now so I am getting a little concerned.

Looking forward to loosing weight, feeling healthier and having more energy!
