Doctor Kelly is the best!!!! Don't hesitate. He is so qualified, trained and educated (in USA) in high risk bariactrics. Look no further.

This is the best news I have ever heard!!!! I can't wait for a bit more than a sip. A gulp at least. (7 days post)

Last night was brutal. I surely over did myself by getting my girls and I off to church, went shopping and took them to lunch. I suffered as a consequence of. I need to take it slow.... Remember I was just in a major surgery. Rest. Down time and healing. I feel better today. Soooo glad!!!

There is a very modernized hospital in down town Tijuana. It's the Angeles hospital. This site has all the technology to meet the needs of patients if something were to happen. But you know nothing is going to happen right? You will be ok. Hopefully you feel confident in your surgeon to know that he can manage trauma or a complication. If he is not experienced in this then change ASAP. I know my doctor had all the extensive certifications so I was not worried. I was relieved.

There is no place like home!

What was so miserable about it? Just wondering if it was dirty? Staff issues?

I just spent 2 nights at the Oasis. There isn't a safe in your room but there is a closet where you can keep your belongings. I had a laptop, cell phone and money stowed away. I was not at all concerned. It is such a quiet hospital and the external doors are locked for patient security. I asked the doctor if I could secure my things somewhere and he said they have never had an incident with theft but I could put my stuff in there. I just trusted him and was fine. Came back to a room just as I had left it. Such an amazing staff. Quiet for good resting. Pleasant and well recommended. Bring your own pillow!! The pillows are not cozy. I also brought my own sheets and a blanket. Also a travel bottle of fabreze and dryer sheets. Made for a Yummy, smell good recovery.

Couldn't be happier with my progress and physical state. Everything is great. I really feel lucky because I haven't had one single gas pain!!!!! Doctor says some people don't.

Does anyone know if doctors will give a Valium or Xanax to calm down a very nervous, scared emotional patient? I have to wait until 4 for my surgery. That's a long time to dwell and be nervous. Tomorrow is my day. Driving to Tijuana. Crazy scared.

I am doing great. I feel rested, cared for, well attended to and lucky today. This has really been a snap for me. Thank you Dr Kelly. Thanks to everyone!!

Dr Kelly is all I hoped for in a professional surgeon. This experience has been amazing. To all those worried and concerned, please just know its a pleasant process with Dr. Kelly and his staff. I'm 12 HOURS post and am doing very well and feel so taken care of. I feel lucky today.

Because the pillows are terrible. The sheets are scratchy (clean and laundered tho) and I like my own downy fresh linens. I'm so much more comfortable in my own stuff. Can't wait to get my own Jammie's on and out of this robe.

Just met Dr Kelly. Nice man. On with this surgery!! Craziness!!! So glad I brought my own bedding and sheets!! On the final countdown.

Not long at all. I know his April was pretty flexible When I was booking a few weeks ago.

What is the timing of the mag citrate? I guess I should know that?

From what I can gather there are enough people going to the hotel and hospital that are patients of other doctors. Lots of people in the same boat doing the same thing and going to the same locations.

I am with Dr Kelly on March 20th. I'm going alone and happy About it. I Saw your post so I thought is respond. I guess I'm not alone after all.
