I was prescribed Pepcid for 6 months, I didn't have an issue pre-op with acid but omg it wakes me up at night now! I thought it was going to be a temp thing but I see now courtesy of this thread that'll be forever :-/

I'm supposed to be at the hospital tomorrow at 9:30 for my surgery. I took magnesium citrate as instructed around 10pm and also did a fleets enema about 2 hours later. Something is seriously wrong. I feel like I have to poop but can't actually poop. It's like the world's biggest turd is right there trying to come out but can't. I've pushed and pushed and nothing. I don't know what to do. My stomach feels weird now, like a crampy feeling. I don't want to have surgery like this, any ideas? Pointers? I think the poop is impacted.

Not bad actually, besides low energy levels and the inability to sleep on my tummy, everything is a'ok! Are you excited about your surgery?

I had surgery on 8/14, I was 302 day of surgery. At my 1 wk follow up on 8/22, I was 288. I lost 14pounds in a week. That's pretty darn awesome in my book. Have you lost 13 pounds in 10 days before?

Yes! I didn't have it pre-op but my surgeon prescribed Pepcid

Omg never heard of this! Any idea how or why that would happen?

My girlfriend was sleeved on 7/8 and I was sleeved on 8/14. I couldn't see myself doing this without her. I feel like our relationship is 10x stronger since we've been on this journey.

I threw up a lot right after surgery and I was throwing up blood! You couldn't have told me I wasn't going to die. Every time I moved, barf! They switched my pain meds and I stopped! Did leak test the following day and all was good. No puking since then. I'm only 8 days post-op so no telling what the future holds.

I'm alive :-) Today is the first day I've had enough energy to pick up my phone!! I'm feeling pretty decent, gas pains gone for the post part, ice Water is my best friend. So is crystal light and green tea. Today I tried some Protein but couldn't get all in. But will try again tomorrow. And yes my worst fear came to light. I shitted everywhere omg I was beyond embarrassed. Idk when exactly it happened but it must have been as soon as they woke me up. I just remember puking and shitting then blank...and when I say shitting it was like a faucet back there ew! Then some little old lady woke me up and said "sweet heart you're all nice and clean now" and all I could say was sorry. I hope I don't run into any of those people ever again But I'm here :-D

I hope I got it all out! If not i hope they don't tell me I pooped on the table lol I'd be too embarrassed.

It came out!!!! Yayyyy, just laid down for about 10 minutes then got the sudden urge to go! And boom! There it went

I give up, poop won! I stuck my finger up there and mega poop has no end in sight! It feels grapefruit sized, that thing isn't coming out so I'm going to bed. Will see what happens tomorrow. Will probably reschedule surgery idk. Will talk to the surgeon and see what he says.

Yes! I've been "going" up until Sunday when I started the clear liquid diet but even before then on the full liquid it was lil round poops
