My nutritionist said I can have bread as long as it's toasted. Toasted bread is easier on the stomach and is dissolved quickly. I buy bread that's already toasted. The brand is bauducco, it has 35 calories/ slice, 5.7 grams of carbs and .8 grams of fat. I put peanut butter on it or eat it with tuna salad.

Oh my lol i understand your plight unfortunately. I bought a scale at cvs (for $10) and every time I weigh it's a different amount. This morning just to make sure I wasn't losing it and stepped on and off of it 3 times and got 3 different numbers.... From 266 to 274

Lol! You could always work out for 5 mins and deduct some calories...or you can drink 1/2 pack of crystal light. But yea 666, no bueno

Congrats on your surgery, I didn't have a drain so can't comment on that, my incisions were soar for about 6 days. Take your pain meds.

That doesn't look normal, none of my incisions were round like that, they looked like little vertical lines and I didn't have one there. Can they stitch it shut? It looks like an open wound at this point. Maybe the location of it is causing the issue?

I can't remember exactly but I think it's because the red and purple color additives stains or can mimic blood...

This was one of the things I was worried about during my research phase. To my surprise, I found a few articles online about when who experienced this. Some sort of rear genetic disorder caused it. I remember one lady had to eat 15,000 calories per day to maintain her weight! I hope this is not what you're experiencing! Try googling it. I'm pretty sure they had the bypass though but I supposed it could happen with the sleeve as well. Good luck

Sometimes they use glue to close the incisions maybe that's what he was talking about?

At two weeks out you should be crushing pills, maybe putting it in applesauce like half an ounce? To be honest with you I was so shocked by all that you're attempting to eat and the whole sausage thing that I stopped reading lol but yes try crushing the pills.

Just because something has 19 grams of protein doesn't make it good....it's also wise to look at fat, sugar and carb content.
