It's officially June 10th! Oh crap it's surgery day!!!!

how do you keep this a secret?
Iniysa replied to miangr's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I told everyone that my doc is putting me on a strict high protein, low carb, low calorie diet. -
I don't get it. :(

I'm told that a stall is usually just your body catching up. You loose all this weight then you stall to give your body a chance to loose the inches too. -
I asked my doc about this. He said your hair will this, that's normal. But if your hair is falling out, you need more protein. I have no idea if that's true or not since it's the first time I've heard of it.

I thought that's what we were all talking qbout. Lol. I didn't even know there was another kind of disolveable gasx. Thanks for that info.

As you know, I'm sure; this is a lifelong change you're going to do to yourself. It means surgery, pain, re-learning how to eat and keeping with it for the rest of your life. It will be hard, there will be massive challenges. If you're not 100 percent ready, don't do it. Wait until you are. It's normal to be anxious. To have the thought: OMG what the h*** am I about to do to myself, little moments. I'm there right now. Lol. But I am 100 percent sure I want and need this. That I'm making the right choice. Good luck!

Yeah but I currently dont have internet at home so if I want to edit together and post my hospital YouTube video, I will need to use the hospital wifi. Lol

I'm Monday as well. I am going to bring a robe, slippers, hair ties, phone, charger, laptop, small firm pillow to hold against my stomach while getting in and out of bed and to put between my stomach and the seatbelt on the way home. I will also be taking GasX dissolvable. I will wear my loose fitting clothes there and then just wear them back again. (With a pair of clean panties of course. )

My hospital does not allow us to bring heating pads. We can have the GasX but I can't find the ones you stick under your tongue, just chewable. I can't believe my surgery is Monday. My stomach is in knots.

Pre-op jitters. Suggestions?
Iniysa replied to miangr's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
I am June 10th. I had my pre-op today and somehow that's helped with the sudden panic feeling that started a few days ago. That feeling will probably be back tomorrow though, lol. I try and keep my mind busy as much as possible. I'm cleaning my apt, reading science fiction and working full time. It helps me NOT think about what will be happening in less then six days. This is my first surgery too. -
