Hi there, I just had sleeve surgery April 18 and am about 5 weeks out. Chocolate was my go to friend. Today when I see it I have No interest in it.For me everything has changed, it's actually been a bonus from my perspective.Like I am re learning with a new palette! This may be too much info but after this month losing 36 pounds I have had two periods...with no carb or chocolate cravings...I am curious to see how I am feeling in a few months.right now i'm loving it.

Don't feel alone...I'm 10 days post op and have very little energy.I am starting to be able to take in some protein shake and that is helping but I definitely have to break up my 30 minutes of exercise in two times a day. I also take a nap for an hour.down 25.I have a feeling once you/me get to taking in max protein etc our energy will go up! You just had surgery, just do your best

Hi Everyone, i am really struggling with the required 64 oz my surgeon says to consume daily..on the pureed stage and the times they want me eating and taking Vitamins and prilosec seems like there isnt 6o minutes to sip...lol..i know i'm whining but it is the hardest struggle so far. wondering if i am alone.

I am SO Looking forward to a protein shake and yogurt too! Sleeved the 18th! Going to first pre op tomorrow

I had my surgery on April 18th,and am almost a week out. I too have pain on the right side. my left and all the incisions feel fine. when i burp or hiccup it takes my breath away. i called my surgeon today and was told i could still have trapped gas and to keep up my walking.I'm a stomach sleeper so its near impossible to get a good nights sleep.I hope your pain subsides soon.I am only taking pain meds before bed and So looking forward to moving forward off this liquid only diet

Hi there, I'm scheduled for April 18th...tomorrow is my liquid cleanse and I am starting to get nervous. 2 weeks of pre op dieting and i've lost 10 pounds so far...have to say it hasn't been too bad but I can't wait to eat some different textures again. Wishing everyone success. .. so glad this site is here..been a true gift!
