Hi ladies first I want to say prayers and best wishes to you both. I had vsg about 6 mos ago the best decision I ever made, my highest 397 now 83 lbs lighter yay I'm so much better. It was something I had to do for myself and for my future to hopefully one day have children. I was diagnosed with PCOS at age of 17 and it's been rough. All I have ever wanted was a family. Today I am on my 3 rd day first round of Clomid praying it works. So ladies once again I pray baby blessings to you both and hopefully soon I can report great news. Be blessed gg

Hi sweetie I'm Genea and I got sleeved 6 mos ago. I too live in ft Myers and if you need any advice or encouragement I'm here for you. Soon you will be starting a new way of doing everything but always know it is worth it. Best wishes and my prayers are with you.

You are not alone it is like I am in ovulation stage almost everyday.. Also with that I know my hormones are all over the place because I am so emotional at times I think Im going nuts... So yes the hormones are trying to keep up and balance out I just dont know how long that is going to take.. But on the good side of that the blood vessels are flowing and I am always feeling excited if you get my drift.... lolol :wub:

Hi light_lady I will be there on the 11th and having surgery on the 12th and not leaving until the 17th so I know we will run into each other . Same hospital , doctor and hotel. I have my mother with me and honey whatever support you need and we are able to help you and be there for you that is no problem.. Cant wait to see you... GG

OMG!!!!!! I cant even imagine paying that. because Lord knows if that was the only choice I had oh honey it would be awhile before I got that surgery.... Thank God for Mexico

At first I was also scheduled for Mi Doctor but then eventually changed it to Florence. And I also asked Alma and she said suggested Florence for me and said that I would be happy there.

I will also be there June 11th same Dr. Garcia and same hosptial also Florence. I also used Ready 4 a Change and I have had the best experience so far. And it is correct it is and extra 500.00 per any BMI over 50 then the same if your over the BMI of 60 which was me. So all together I had to pay an extra 1000.00 . All worth it to me, its is just the beginning steps on the road to my transformation.

I have one week left myself I will be there on June 11th with Dr. Garcia yay. Excited and going nuts all at the same time. Just ready to get this train moving..

I started on Wed 05/29/2013 and I tell you that day was the hardest, my body was like what in the hell is going on with us today.. I mean it was literally a war going on inside of me. Second day getting better learning how to cope and deal with these thoughts. Drinking so much water I could burst and making sure I get all my protien in really began to help this process. Today i am day 3 and the hunger headaches are starting to go away and I feel a little pep in my step. 10 more days to go for me and I know I can do it, for once I have to dig real deep down inside myself and find my strength. I say all this because I want to be ready to handle my life after surgery. Retrain my limits and eating habits which in turn will help me daily on the long road ahead. So Im sending prayers for all of you that are having a hard time right now. Best wishes

Lolol OMG Ms. Confidence you had me cracking up when you said you will fall asleep in mid conversation....But i think this is happening because your strenght is not back at 100% just yet. When you start getting more protein in you and your body begins to adjust this will get better.. Now Im scared I will be sleep at my desk when I get back to work. It is hard enough now not to get sleepy during a work day. lolol See for me its not the tape Im allergic too but the sticky moniter pads they put on your chest. Now that crap messes me up everytime. Thank God you are doing well and continue to get those fluids in sweety. Oh did Dr. Garcia tell you to be on only liquids for two weeks or what was your orders after you go home.. Im just curios

Ms Confidence glad to see you are back and doing well headaches all gone... Thank you Jesus for that. So when you feel up to it you have to tell me how you are feeling so far today and how is your intake of liquids going...The feeling of fullness is it more intense or has Is your vision of food totally different changed. I want to know how your experience has been so far and how you are truly feeling physically...

Ms Tiff i can understand about the shakes because some of them can be so nasty ooohhh my goodness. I have tried so many but what I use now is just the Lean shakes from GNC mostly the chocolate flavor. Now if I get vanilla flavor I add it with sugar free fruit juice and that makes it much better.. But they say that the Isoplus is the best a little pricey but worth it.. I do have the isoplus liquid and it is not a problem. That also comes in alot of flavors. But basically you might have to just keep on tryin other brands until you find what you like. Everyone is different. But good luck honey just make sure you are getting in all your protien because after surgery that will be your major goal everyday...

Hey Ms Tiffany to more 8 more days left sista. Im doing the happy dance for you... Are you able to contain yourself... Is your mom excited to be going with you.. My mother is already trying to pack her suitcase and she has a whole month to go before she gets here to Florida... I also wanted to ask you are you doing the pre op diet and if so how are you doing with that.. I am slowly but surely doing more shakes now and watching what I eat to just try and get into the routine of having different eating habits..

Hey ladies sorry it took me so long to reply. Very busy evening for me. But the only reason I changed my date because it was more convenient for my mom. Mind you I'm flying her in from Oklahoma she doesn't live here in Fl. Plus better for me financially that is the only reasons I changed the date. I was going to go by myself at first and was content with that decision. But my mom wanted to be there with me. Well you will be going 2 days before my birthday cinco de mayo... My original date was in May but i changed it.. Sorry I couldnt be your buddy on this trip , but you have to give me details afterwards... I mean everything honey..... So which surgeon are you using and what hospital will you be in... Are you going by yourself or will you have support?

I also live in SW florida (Ft Myers ) to be exact and I have been on this site for about a month... I will be having my surgery on June 12th and can hardly wait. Mine is little different wont be having surgery here insurance didnt cover it.. So i am headed to Mexico like so many others. Different avenues for a us all but we are all headed in the right direction.... A healthier life. (Im so ready)

Congrats love reading this story, i will be going in June to the same hospital and the same doctor... After reading this I am more excited and can hardly contain myself. Cant wait to get on the other side of bench.
