I was sleeved on the 17th as well. Today I start unrestricted liquids (protein shakes, blended strained soups etc.) and I'm nervous about starting. I woke up today with diarreah, the first BM since surgery. Not sure if that 's normal or not.

I have a month to prepare! Is anyone else married with kids? What are you going to do for the few weeks after surgery? I was thinking of making and freezing meals. We're going on vacation exactly a month after surgery and I'm kind of nervous about that!

Hi, before I begin, I just want to say hi. I've been reading for awhile but haven't posted but one other time and I think that was last week! So I got my approval letter today! YAY! My first question, what does "date of admission/service" mean? It's listing May 28th, 2013 as the date of service. My pulmonologist appointment isn't until June 10th. Not to mention May 28th is next week! This surely can't be my surgery date, can it? It also says that I was approved for services/procedures in an Outpatient Hospital setting. Again, can anyone tell me what that means? It would be wonderful if my doctor's office was 24 hours

Hi! New to posting, been lurking for a few months...to answer your question, I'm having mine removed. During the abdominal ultrasound they found gall stones. I had NO idea I had them. So since they're already in there, they're going to remove it as a precaution.
