I am 9 days out of surgery. I have lost 16 lbs. Go me!! I go Thursday for my 2 wk check up. Although, tonight I did eat solid. I am not hungry, but hungry for food, NOT broth. Lol. I had some lasagna and corn. About 6 VERY SMALL bites, I WAS DONE!! Didn't get sick. Just wanted to see how I would do.

Slurpees and icees have a lot of air in them. May not be good for gas.
I love the s.f. popsicles too. It is part of your daily intake.

I tool Benadryl and it's not helping at all!!

I just cant stand it anymore. It's making me irritable. I'm going to call tomorrow.

I have steri strips and am itching like crazy. My strips are lifting but don't look like they are budging any time soon. No welts though. I would call the Dr. Good luck! Are you taking anything, Benadryl?

Is that pressure in your chest a sign of being full?

I don't think you are suppose to be lifting anything over 10lbs. She's adorable, how could you not I would spoil holding her while sitting down.

After this healing phase is over, I'm sure you will love it. It will all go back to normal. Instead of us eating to hored food we will eat slow and pick at our food like kids do and enjoy the flavor of our food.

You probably should have slowly winged yourself off of the caffeine before your preop diet. I know every doctor is different, on my postop instructions he said NO caffeine.

I have not had any headaches nor have I gained weight. Can anyone really describe the 'full' feeling we should have afterwards on our liquid diet? Like I don't get a 'stuffed' feeling like I would before surgery.

I am 3 days out from my surgery. I drink an oz or more every 15 min. per my surgeon. I don't really feel full from my liquids. Does anyone else feel like this. Although I do have some sharp pains kinda going up my chest. I'm debating on if that's the gas or indigestion. Although it does not feel like heartburn.
