So, I was just listening to the news and OHIP no longer covers a full annual physical for healthy adults. The rationale is that it's not necessary. Even the news reporter recognized that it's about the money. Those few minutes with your doctor was billed at $77 but as of 2013, OHIP will only pay $50. Why is this not surprising? We have to keep asking, "Where is the money?" The money has not disintegrated into thin air but in every direction we see examples of how it is not going to the people...
