So embarrassing! Surgery day picture
Kelly1334 replied to Gonnabeslim1day's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I wish I had one! Although my moms bf started a vid diary shortly after I don't have a pic from actual surgery day. Use it as motivation. Best of luck, there's beauty in the journey . -
I just attempted to go out for my birthday and had to turn around bc I got horrible car sick. Puking hurts!!! but I've never gotten car sick before and it's happened twice now since surgery. Anyone else?

"Head Hunger"
Kelly1334 replied to ..................'s topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm two weeks out and I've found that I was struggling with the same thing. I've literally had to remove myself from situations where my family is eating crap food bc I feel so compelled to eat it. Stuff I never ate like chips n soda seemed appealing. Just remember to remove yourself from the situation and also your insides are healing. You don want to have to go through the entire process again bc you made careless decisions. Also once you start seeing the benefits of he weight loss and fit into your skinny jeans your relationship w food starts to change. Your no longer eating as a hobby your eating for fuel. Yesterday at my post op I wore size jeans that were two sizes smaller and I was like yes! And it clicked. I'm trying to surround myself with people who are more into fitness and active then food. Only two weeks in its hard but keep in mind why you made the decision in the first place! You can do it! -

I promise it gets easier! The most important thing is that you stay hydrated as well as you can. As the days go on you'll learn the different feelings full gas ect. Sometimes I found that I thought I was hungry but it was gas. Walking helps and fluids as much as you can tolerate comfortably. Try gas x chewable that helped, walking and also whatever acid reducer your dr prescribed

I'm craving pickles sooo bad! I've always loved Pickles and eaten them regularly but now it's like the one thing I feel I can do without! I'm just drinking a little juice and doing the chew and spit. I no longer want chocolate or sweets the thought of those make me naucious. I'm 12 days out but I guess pickles is something ill never shake!

Sleeves 2/28 and down 24lbs -
Hmm I've done so many things on this thread that have been mentioned...traveled the world, piercings, clubs, festivals, college... But one thing that I'm working to change on the eve of my 26th birthday is working to have a Meaningful relationship as opposed to just friend with benefits. I see all my friend engaged or married. Not that I want to be married just yet but I need to work on having a long term relationship with Someone who's actually worth it. (Not losers in the past) lol.

Happy to report 10 days out I've lost 24 lbs and no migraines! I couldn't be happier with my decision. It's been hard and I'm still not feeling 100% but ill trade these pains with migraines any day! This makes 38lbs in total with pre and post of weight loss. I'm so motivated and I've inspired my family to get in shape too

Vitamin b comes in sublingual melts under your tounge -
The major reason I chose te surgery was to reduce my chronic (over 20 a month). Im 25, soon to be 26 ahhhhh! my migraines have taken a toll since i was 23 and have turned my life inside out even landing me in bed for 9 months. Happy to report since I was sleeved on 2/28 I have not had a migraine yet! *Knock in wood* Small headaches here and there but NOTHING like the ER visit type I experienced on the daily. I'm very excited with my results so far but I don't own a scale so I'm not sure how much weight I've lost. But no migraine in 5 days is HEAVEN for me.

Best of luck! Hope your doing well
