I had my pre-op today, I was cleared for surgery. I am on day 3 of the liquid pre-op diet and I feel tired but over all okay. I am however, a little bummed that when I went to the dr today I had gained 3 lbs. =( Can someone please tell me if this is normal. I am scared that I won't loose the weight my dr asked me before the surgery.

I am scheduled for the 19th. I started the liquid diet today. I imagined it would be a lot worse, but so far so good. I hope that you are feeling better about it. Have a great day!

Birdie, My surgery is on the 19th, I start my diet on Tuesday. I have the fear that I won't be able to stick to the shakes only, since I also have to cook.

Hey, thanks for posting, I just got the call from my dr on Friday stating that I was approved for surgery. I was so excited I cried. My surgery is scheduled for March 19th. Today I find myself bring scared. It was comforting to know that I am not the only to feel that way. -

Hello, I am in south Florida, I just received approval for my surgery from my insurance it will be done on March 19, 2013. My surgeon is Dr. De La Cruz in Miami. I am excited and nervous and even a little bit scared.
