    Distinguishing Feelings

It is normal what you are feeling. It gets better and easier each day & with time. It is crucial that you get in your Protein and Water. Take it from me - I don't & I stay dehydrated...iv fluids in the dr's office when I have my appointments. In time, you will be able to tell the head hunger from real hunger. When you progress to more foods & things, you will know what you can handle & what you can't...it is kinda trial & error. Just follow your dr and nut guidelines. Best of luck to you! Take care!

    Help! Hair loss!

I am taking Biotin and prenatal Vitamins for my hair. I started using Organix Biotin and Collagen shampoo/conditioner (purple bottle - Walmart). I started styling my hair less and less using styling products. I am ten weeks out - dread the day it starts falling out...I have thick hair to nearly my waist...it is all I got as far as looks - I dread it! I am yet to see anybody post that it didn't stop, so hopefully, we all will make it through! Good luck!

    HAIR-LOSS

I started taking Biotin & prenatal Vitamins (Walmart brands). I started using Organix Biotin and Collagen shampoo/conditioner (Walmart also). I am 10 weeks out & thankfully haven't had it yet...from what I have read on here...it usually doesn't start til the 4 or 5 month and lasts til the 9th or 10th month and grows back... Good luck!
  8. Down 55 lbs...gained 1 pound on 2 different occasions only to relose it along with a few more lbs the following week - not sure why the two gains. I go to WW weekly for the support & accountability of the scale, even though I don't do the points now. I am able to tell a difference in my clothes & others are starting to notice the weight loss. I am still dehydrated - just can't drink alot, still uncomfortable. I still regret it. Weight loss is great, but I would not do it again. I am glad most March Sleevers are doing marvelous! Let's check in another couple of months??? Wish everybody the best! Good luck! Take care!

I did nothing differently this week, but I gained... I hate Mr. Scale & always will! He's an @$$hole! lol Frustrated...2 month follow-up this week with the dr & nut...I am sure their scale will have a different tale...ugggh

I need advice on hair loss! Please help

I have hair to my waist...I can relate to what you are saying. I am only 9 weeks out & haven't experienced it yet. I dread it so badly. I started Biotin a year before surgery. I take the Walmart Spring Valley brand. I started taking prenatal Vitamins, also, from Walmart. I started using Organix (purple bottle from Walmart) Biotin and Collagen shampoo & conditioner. I only shampoo once or twice a week. I have cut down on styling and styling products, also. Best of luck to you! I wish you all the best!!

Biggest regrets about getting the sleeve?

...if you go to the thread/vote Would You Have Weight Loss Surgery Again? ...I have a couple of detailed explanations about it...or you can message me about it. ...I don't go into much detail anymore on threads because after I posted about my regrets on a few threads...I got bombarded with negative, rude, nasty comments, questions, and even private messages from the sleeve cheerleading squad...and I am here for positive vibes and support. Everybody is different - Do what is best for you. Please think long and hard about it. Read, research, prepare...but honestly, until you have the surgery, you really don't know how you will feel. I did all the above (minus trying Protein shakes), thought I was ready & would be fine...well, I am not now. But each day does get easier. I am coming to terms with it. I am trying to make the best out of a terrible decision. I wish you all the best. Good luck! Take care!

Biggest regrets about getting the sleeve?

9 weeks out - lost weight & no complications, but honestly...full of regret here & would not have it again. You have any questions about that, feel free to message me. Only thing I'd do differently - besides not having the surgery - I would have started looking for a Protein shake I could stand waaaaay before surgery, instead of thinking I'd just wait til after. ..not smart! Best of luck to you. Do what is best for you.

    Tanning after surgery

My dr said to wait a bit & to cover my incisions, which I did with a towel. I've been out in the real sun 3 times, tanning bed about 5 times....my scars are practically gone...but I'm naturally tan, though...I'm nearly 9 weeks out...
