Hey Good luck, I got my surgery Friday morning on the 5th I have alot of gas and it so discomfort. I was able to walk on first day but then it made me wanna puke so I stop and took meds. Today is just upper chest pain which doctor says us gas. I am not taking liquids as much every 2 hour I drink 1 oz.. Hopefully 2moro I go home.

I am doing it in New York City st Luke's hospital..

Hey My surgery date is 4/5/14 gosh 1 more day nervous as hell. Doing 2 day liquid diet before surgery. Started weight was 230 Weight now 219 Height 5'0 Goal weight 130

I agree try meal replacement like ensure and ask your doctor what they recommend. Good luck..

Hey Check Walmart I online, I use the Protein shakes that are all ready made and ready to drink and Walmart has it for good price. The vanilla cream is good and also the chocolate. Good luck guys.. I get my surgery Friday and I am excited and nervous.

Hello I started my liquid diet today, drinking diet snapples, gingerale and broth. I had 2 bowls of broth, 3 bottles of Water and 2 bottles of diet snapple and one gingerale. It definitely hard the first day..

April 5th, I am nervous and excited to make changes in my life. Been over weight all my life and can't wait to start a new journey specially for my kids because I wanna be active with them.

I am 25, 5'0 Started weight was 230 now 218 surgery date April 5, 2013. surgery will be at St Roosevelt's Hospital in Manhattan.

Hello my name is Joan I have started this journey since November 21, 2012 I finally got my date for my surgery which is April, 5, 2013. My height 5'0 feet My weight on 11/21/12 was 226 My weight on 2/26/14 is 218 My surgery date 4/5/13 I have struggle my whole life being over weight and finally I decided to make a change so I can better my self and I can be healthier for myself and my 2 kids who are my world. I am super nervous and hopefully it will go away. I am happy I found this site and I can hear people remarkable stories and the journey to our surgery date..

Hey guys name is Joan I am 25 and I am a mother of two, been over weight my whole life and on my 25th bday had a break down and decided to make a change in my life And get the vertical sleeve surgery. I have tried so many diets but nothing. I even work out and didn't see little change. Well I started my process on November 21, 2012 and finally I got a surgery date which is April 5, 2013.
