I have been yo-yoing my weight since after high school. I do very well then not so well. By the time I graduated college I was at a high of 250lbs! I could not believe it. I have lost 25 pounds and kept it off for 3 years but now I fluctuate. I lose 30 and gain it back. Over and over. I want to start a family but I want to raise my children with a healthy mother. So the decision was VSG. My love had it done and he has lost 100lbs and kept it off. It's my turn. I hate weight always being a factor in almost everything I do. I am ready to change to healthier, happier me!

5 and a half months later I am down 40 pounds. Sometimes it seems like a lot, other times it does not. But all in all, I feel great, I look good and fit into a lot of cute new clothing. I know my journey is life long. My love says its the greatest thing he has ever done and I can't say that, not yet anyway, maybe some day I will. For now it still seems like a battle. I'm winning but its a very slow process. I have two down sides, constipation and hair loss. But at very upsetting and I try to take more protein and eat fiber but because the small amount of food I am eating I am just not regular and it drives me crazy. But I guess it's part of the battle. The battle that I will win!
