    Trying not to lose

Wow... That is kinda crazy. I love OCC! I am so thankful I have been able to achieve what I have. But everything you have listed is pretty much everything I have also been doing. Just beginning to worry.

    Trying not to lose

I was happy at 115.. But now I am down at 110 and getting concerned. My nutritionist initially told me I would only be able to get down to 130 without exercise. I am working out 2 days a week for about an hour and just trying to eat something constantly. My job is demanding, somedays I am running constantly. I hope I can get others input.
  3. I am 17 months out of surgery. I have been at goal since feb. However, I have continued to lose weight and I am not trying. I am constantly eating protein most days not enough. I still have difficulty with bread, it fills me up fast. Does anybody else have this problem? My husband is getting concerned and says if I get to 105 he's going to intervene. We are both nurses! I know how I am suppose to eat and I do my best. Any ideas?
  4. I am now over a year post op and I was the same way prior to surgery. I did every possible research available. Was constantly emailing my doctors office with questions. It was all I could think about or talk about. After my surgery and the weight began to melt away, it became more of who I was and my obsession became less and less and it was more just a part of life. I have been at goal now for 5 months and now my reality is trying to eat enough to to keep my weight maintained. It's easy to start losing again if you're not careful. My sleeve has been a blessing. I would not change anything for the world. I am truly a much happier me and I can enjoy outdoor activities and exercise without being in pain. Good luck on your new adventures.

    Let's Talk: Fears?

Also, sorry I didn't address the other fear.. Things do change. You will change. I know I tend to look at myself more and be proud of my body. Just try to stay humble and not become to wrapped up in how you look or how you have changed. Change can be good and when you are getting healthy that is even better. You will do great!

    Let's Talk: Fears?

I am over a year out of surgery. I have been at goal weight since approx 10 months. I am a nurse and I was back to work after 5 days. I had very little pain and discomfort. No complications! Best decision I ever made. I also had my surgery in Mexico, Dr Ortiz and his team were amazing. Any questions I had pre-during-post surgery have been answered immediately. I take 1 B12 shot once a month and my labs have been prefect since.

    In need of support

I'm sorry you met such criticism last time. I am recently divorced, he was very controlling and abusive to my children. I was sleeved last march, I would first off like to know how much weight you have gained? Sometimes you can fluctuate. You are strong for getting out of your situation. I have some stress and sleep issues due to my job. I am using medication to help with those problems. I have lost all the weight that I intended to lose however I having a hard time with exercise. You can do it, like I said you are strong. Just need to figure out what is holding you up. Are you logging your food? Plus weight loss slows down when you get close to the 6 months. Then 3 weeks goes by and there's another 3-4 pounds. I'm here if you need someone!

    Abnormal EKG

Thanks for posting! It's nice to see someone else who started with a low BMI being so successful 11 months later! I am 9 months behind you and hope to see the same success! Yes, my BMI was on the lower side but happy to report most of my physical problems have resolved. I'm just below my goal so I'm trying to maintain and gain a couple pounds back. It is a struggle sometimes due to work and school schedules.. Congrats to you and hoping for the same success.

    Abnormal EKG

Many things can cause an "abnormal" EKG. If you have not had symptoms previously she is correct it is probably nothing. The cardio clearance is just to make sure they aren't missing something that could cause issues in surgery and postoperative. Good luck! Sleeve was the best decision I ever made. 11 months later and still loving it
  10. Haven't posted in awhile. My weightloss has slowed way down. Been under lots of stress maybe it's a factor. Still feeling good though.
