Well I completely understand bigsleeve, I'm disappointed in myself. I'm here now at the doctors office and I have to come clean. I know your being honest and I really appreciate it, I should have had more self control and I would not have done what I done. I must say that the hardest part I had is when I was at work and my partner (law enforcement) ate at McDonald's, he told me to stay my fat ass in the car. He wasn't being mean, but I told him to do whatever to keep me from eating. He tried, tried hard, but when the conscience is talking to you telling you "eat, I'm starving", and your own stomach feels as if it's eating itself, I made a choice to eat something. I must say I had enough control not to eat a Big Mac, fries, and 2 extra Mcdoubles, well that's what I usually got to make me happy. Why all that, well because it's free for us, and my stomach even still wasn't satisfied. I must say today has been better, I had 1/2 bottle of Applemellon Isopure, and a whole bunch of Water. Nothing else, and knowing that more than half the day is gone, I know I can do it. I walked/jogged/ran with my dog for about 3 miles.

Well it would be nice if I was perfect like you...

I walked/jogged everyday to try to burn off those extra calories. I must say, I'm down 6 pounds already from day 1!!!

Congratulations! I start my preop tomorrow, I'm ready!

Pre-op starts tomorrow! Had my final meal today, it was good but once again I know why I'm having this surgery. After eating what I are tonight, and the way I feel now, it's worth it. I ate more than I should've and now I feel like crap. Like always after eating. One thing I've learned about my food addiction is, like a lot of us "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP".

Hello, I've never had surgery before in my life. I was approved and my dr recommended the VSG, and my surgery date is March 20. I know everyone's pain is different, just wanted a few opinions from some folks with experience, thanks!

I'm also having the HH repaired, I keep hearing that the pain of swallowing even water is horrible, can anyone tell me what to expect from their experience?

Thank y'all so much for the support on here!!! It's tough for all of us that has bad eating habits, especially when we know it's coming to an end. Life is gonna get better for us, keep humble comments coming for support or all of us.

U have nothing to worry about, my stomach can hold about 72 ounces total as of now... That's what I was told... I weighed my food, Water and that was the total when I was full... You will never be where you were before the sleeve, don't worry!

I'm still doing okay, liquid diet starts in 5 days, as of now I'm having 3 Protein shakes for breakfast and lunch, then having my favorite meals for dinner funeral! I just had a large slices beef sandwich, mashed potatoes, fried okra and green beans! Ohhhh and topped off with a bananna pecan piece of cake!

Today and yesterday I did okay, 30 gram protien shake for Breakfast, 2 premier Protein shakes for lunch, but a huge chicken fajita dinner. I'm getting better at this, and hopefully I'll be ready for the mandated liquid diet starting March 13th! I'm shooting for a full liquid diet tomorrow, hopefully I can do it!
