    What is wrong with me?

you need to measure your food! you should not be eating an entire can of anything at this point. your stomach is still healing, you are going to hurt something if you eat to much at once.

    Restless BODY syndrome?

if he wouldn't give you a B12 shot, try sublingual B12. B12 is not absorbed in the stomach if ypu are on PPIs or other acid reducers. most doctors are ignorant of the symptoms of vitamin deficiencies... unless they have worked in places like africa. make sure you are also taking a good multi vitamin... i take a liquid one.

    Dumping Syndrome....

vomiting is not dumping. dumping means undigested food esp sugar or fat are "dumped" into your small intestines. the symptoms can be cramping, sweating, severe nausea, lightheadedness, dizziness, racing heart, paleness, fainting, low blood pressure, low blood sugar, weakness, extreme and/or explosive diarrhea. it can be mild or horrible, depending.

    Scary stuff

not to be crappy, but really, who cares? if you look online you will find people who are anti everything... psychiatric meds, special education, food stamps... EVERYTHING. there are people who believe medicine is evil, science is made up, everything is god's will so you shouldnt interfere at all with treating anything.... it doesnt mean anything. and doctors are no exceptions, they are human and have biases like everyone else! do your research on reputable websites, dont ask for medical advice online and speak personally with experts. if a person makes their medical decisions based on information from iffy online sources... well, what can you say?

    Scary stuff

to what purpose? you say this like its some sort of organized anti wls conspiracy. other than people with personal bias against it, what "enormous" movement do you speak of? to the OP, if you want to remain healthy long term, follow your doctors after care plans to the very best of your ability.

    Viral Chest infection and vomiting

no idea when your surgery was, but antibiotics can cause vomiting. you should speak with your doctor regarding vomiting after either stomach surgery or antibiotic use. so, in either case, call your doctor.

Sleeve made too big 1st now having complications

give it time. i had a ton of adhesions removed from my stomach, pancreas, and spleen from 10 years ago (unknown case of pancreatitis after my gall bladder removal) this caused a ton of swelling in my stomach. i couldnt keep anything down for almost 4 weeks. my stomach wasnt squeezing due to the swelling. water and shakes went in. nothing went out. extreme nausea, pain, bloating and then everything would come back up. surgeon told me to be patient. give it time. he was right. it was 2-3 weeks longer recover time for me. as long as you are hydrated, and your pain is controlled, rest and heal. if you are in intolerable pain or cant get enough fluids in, call your surgeon. (or cant keep anything down or have terrible nausea... i needed 3 nausea meds!)

    Psych Eval

all evals are different. different providers do it differently. there are no "wrong answers." be honest, dont try to hide the truth about your relationship with food. allow him or her to help you. its not a hoop you have to jump through, its something you need to prepare you for surgery.

Has anyone been able to ditch the CPAP?

my sleep study several years ago slowed mild sleep apnea. but i used a cpap cause i apparently snored really loudly. and my H couldnt sleep. i did it to keep the peace, though i hated it with a passion. they monitored me in the recovery room and hospital room and said i didnt need it. and since H said i wasnt snoring anymore, its still in the the bag in the closet from the hospital.

    When eating, air/bloating in stomach?

eat slowly. chew well. your bites might be small, but you might gulping - this can lead to lots of extra air being swallowed with food. also make sure you are waiting 30-45 min after drinking to eat. eat 3-5 bites. then wait before eating more. when i had burping and bloating i was eating too fast, too much and not chewing well.
  18. Thanks but it IS for me , I just worry ... I really want and need it.. I don't understand why some people have leaks Years later?? i think its really important to find a surgeon in a center of excellence who does lots of sleeves. i have heard of very few complications in our local support group. its important to remember, healthy people almost never have this surgery. sick obese people have more complications. always. and the rate of complications from being obese is 100%, right?

Can someone please offer me some advice

    well unless its sweet tea!
  23. many obese people are insulin resistant. if you are, it can be very difficult to lose weight if your carbs are above 40-50 grams per day. if you reduce your carbs, you may speed up your weight loss. experiment with it and see.

    The Last Supper

nope. i figured i had had plenty of times in my life where i ate without any thought of the consequences. i didnt feel the need. my H and i went out for wood fired pizza and ate 3/4s of a personal pizza 2 days before surgery. it was yummy and i have had pizza 2 times since then. (its been a year)
