    The 5:2 Diet

Very interested in this. Wondering if it would help with the stall I am in currently and have been stuck in for a while.

    6 month pictures

Looking great! Keep up the good work!
  6. What was you longest stall period? I have only lost 1/2lb the last four weeks. I am drinking lots of water, eating protein and excercising. Don't know what to do. My surgery was 2/26/13 down 75lbs.

  8. From a 18/20 to a 10/12! I bought a gorgeous Kelly green dress today in a 10. I am so stoked. I moved a little in my stall....thank goodness! Started keeping a food journal again. I am getting in about 1000-1200 calories, 80 grams of proteins, 20-30 net carbs per day, 20-30 grams of fat. Working out. Snacks are Ostrim Snacks and Quest Bars. Surgery was end of February. I am so happy I did this. I cannot believe i am down 76lbs.

    Smooth Move Tea

Good! Glad you have a cocktail that works. Constipation has been a real issue.

    Bar

My new favorite bar is the Quest Bar. High fiber. Low carb. High protein.

    Bar

I waited until 6 months. I noticed anything with sugar alcohol was causing cravings.

    In a stall

Sleeved end of February. 1000-1200 calories per day, 60-80 grams protein, less than 30 carbs, 10-12 glasses of water, exercising 4-5 days per week.
  15. I have been in a stall for a while. I am thrilled with my results, but the scale has not moved in a month. Any suggestions?

    Hair Loss

Remember....your body is in a state of shock and it starts losing what it does not feel like it needs. I take biotin everyday and get my protein in, including a teaspoon of almond butter, peanut butter or cashew butter everyday. Also, started using paraben free and sulfite free shampoos. I use inexpensive brand called "Organix". My hair loss calmed down late July early August. Surgery was in February.

    Hair Loss

I take 10,000 mcg of Biotin. My surgery was 2/2013 and my hair loss calmed down in 08/2013. It gets better.
  20. I had surgery Feb 26th. I have lost 75 lbs and am down to 162lbs. I am 30 lbs away from my goal an 12 lbs away from my doc's goal. I feel pretty good. Exercising a bunch and drinking tons of water. Constipation a real issue, but working through that with stool softeners, miralax, milk of magnesia. I exercise 4 days a week at the gym and am active everyday either walking, exercise tape, riding my bike, something. I keep it low carb. Slipping rarely. Happy I did this.

    Dreamfields Pasta?

If is delicious. I ate it for years prior to surgery. Now, I do not eat pasta, but really enjoyed it in my pre-sleeve life.
  22. Congratulations and thank you for sharing! Share some pics! :-)
  23. I find I am harder on myself now than before the surgery. It has been a great journey, but still not happy with the way I look. Never cared before surgery.
  24. Well, this is it! This the first week since surgery on 2/26/13 that the scale is inching down. I knew it was coming. I am thrilled I have lost 48lbs, so far, but it is tough when you have been losing all along, then hit the snail pace weight loss week. I am getting my water and protein shakes in, but I really need to be eating every 3-4 hours...working on that. Staying away from fruits still, only a bite of fruit every couple of days, still mostly Atkins diet.
