I was so nervous and work myself up for nothing... you get an iv, knocked out, an hr later your awake, and soon outta there!! No worries... I literally stressed out for nothing.

I work in Trenton as well, live in Langhorne. I have been nervous so much, but when I walked in there and had my first appointment I felt like they already knew me. I was going to have the female surgeon originally. But my daughters gmom had the bypass there... EXCELLENT!! No worries at all. I just wish I could of had my surgery there.

Barix clinic is EXCELLENT! I was originally going to have my surgery there but had to find an in network dr with my insurance. You will def feel welcomed and safe here.

I have lost 10lbs so far on my own, but I know the doctors want us to lose some weight to shrink our organs before we go into surgery. << Another reason why we go on the 2 week diet. Plus once you start losing a few on your own.. It makes you feel great, and makes you start eating healthy so your not struggling after surgery.

My biggest one was... being able to be there for my daugher. I am a single mother so she relies on me. Also, I have PCOS and eventually I want more children.

Congrats!! I cried when my dr told me... A very exciting day.

I am still preop but I went back and forth for 2 years! At first I was going to get the bypass, but it made me feel extremely scared to have my insides re-arranged per say. I immediately went with the sleeve after looking more into it. Also, I like the sleeve bc I would lose weight a bit slower than the bypass. With slower weight loss you can control the amount of extra skin by working out in different areas. All I can say is do your research. Even look at the bad things that can happen so you are 100% fully prepared. You will be nervous, you will have doubts, I think I have them every other week!! Just keep in mind the end goal, happy, healthy, and able to live a normal life.
