They want me to get a sleep study done now, which I didn't need before.. and I am losing weight on my own so not 100% sure. The dr they suggested wanted me to wait 2 months for an appointment, I said no thanks and called a different dr. I have to get one more test done for my PCOS. July 3rd I go back to Dr. N's office. July 12th is my Preop class and he said 2 weeks from then will be my date. I have been seeing Dr. N since last August.. just feels like surgery is never happening. UHHHHH

Horrible... not as I wanted. In the begining it was perfect.. setting my date and my preop class for next week... THEN boom oh well we need you to do one more test, THEN the nurse was like well now she has to wait until next month for the Preop class. Now I won't be sleeved till the end of July. Hope your appointment was better?

I had a natural birth, with no medication.... HOPEFULLY the sleeve isn't as bad lol

I'm having a hard time accepting compliments! Of course I smile, which I am smiling 24/7 but even when it's said... I'm like oh no stop, that can't be true. I am a shy person, maybe that is the reason. Maybe it is just something I need to get used too!

Your body might be just trying to get used to the change! Probably in a few days/start of next week you will see a different loss. I think dr. are more concerned with your organs shrinking to do the surgery better, and just for you to get used to the liquid stage for after surgery.

I take biotin and I am preop. I have noticed that I don't lose as much hair. My hair & skin feels and looks a lot better though.

How was the run? I just joined up for a 5k Zombie run in Philly Pa, and a Glow light 5k run in NY in Sept. KINDA... excited lol

I think I am going to try and sneak out of work. The lady who answered the phone said, we will schedule my surgery date, and schedule a preop class. So hopefully you will get the same!! Maybe we will go to the same class.

The waiting game sucks!! For me time was going by fast, but ever since I got my acceptance letter time just seems to be dragging on.

YES!!! I have a dr appointment on Wednesday as well, although I may have to change it. I live an hr away from his office so at times it is hard to miss work and get up there in time, specially when his appointments are only tues/wed.

It is frustrating!! My dr waited 2 weeks before submitting to insurance, I did however receive my acceptance letter within days. I hope you will get an answer sometime this week! I understand how frustrating it can be. What dr are you seeing? I am seeing Dr. Nihalani in Edison NJ. I used to go to college in Del! Good luck with your sleeve tomorrow. Who is your dr? I am a single sleever!!! I am still pre op, I have lost weight on my own 15-20 lbs. And I get a lot of attention, kinda weird at first lol but I am starting to get used to it. My confidence is sky high already but I am still scared to date. I think the same fears that were their before are still here. Might take a bit longer to get over it, or I think I am becoming just pickier!

Congrats!!! I went to my Psych... and It was weird.. Asked me if I was depressed, said no BOOM got my clearance!

My date is up in the air... but should be around that time as well. Ive had to change my date twice already ... just ready for it to happen. Good luck
