How far out from surgery are you and did you eat the peel?

I burned 1500 calories the weekend before surgery mowing, trimming, and edging my lawn!

My first attempt with eggs hurt as I was sure I could easily eat one . Haven't tried since but I will.

No, dehydration is not normal. You should be sipping CONSTANTLY. They had me doing a log that was detailed in 15 min increments. I put a checkmark each time I took a sip. I was able to start with a sip = half an ounce at a time and increase it to 1 ounce at a time (using a shot glass ).

I was discharged on full fluids so I did a strained tomato bisque a few days after surgery with no issues. Some people so have issues with V8, tomato juice, etc. Maybe start with a quarter cup and see how do you with it.

Muscle Milk has too much sugar in it. Have you tried other brands of Protein shakes?

Your surgeon approved pita as a soft food? I kinda miss it and can't wait to have some again with saganaki (sp?)!

You can mix unflavored unjury into soups, but they need to be < 140 degrees and I *highly* recommend using a Magic Bullet or something like it. I'm guessing that the other unflavored brands are similar.

This. Right. Here. Y'all, we don't have the luxury of missing meals anymore. It has to be a priority (and yes I needed this scolding as much as y'all do).

I did my normal 25 minutes with no problem. That day 2.5 was comfortable for me but I hardly get above 2.8 - compared to most people I walk slow anyway. Now that I'm up to 30 minutes I'm going to start working on going faster and faster until I can run.

Coming from a person that used to drink at least a 6-pack of Diet Coke a day I can tell you it's been months since I had one and I don't miss it. You can do it and it'll be worth it.

I was under the impression that 1 day is normal. I was in 1 day which almost turned into 2 because of an issue I had with fluids.
