the guilt is eating me alive

What you should feel is grateful that this woman's true colors came out now instead of a time where you really needed her there for you. Consider this a blessing - now you are available for the woman who accepts and loves you for who you are now and who you will be.

You will drive yourself nuts weighing yourself everyday. Stop now before it becomes a habit. Our dysfunctional club has enough members.

    Ruining my weightloss?

If you'd gained 10 pounds after being sleeved then you'd have reason to be concerned. 30 pounds in two weeks is phenomenal, be patient and give your body time to catch up.
  9. Relax, do what the NUT and surgeon told you to do and the weight will come off. There's no way some weight can't come off.

Soft foods one week post op?

<cough>week and two days</cough> We were running errands, the wife was hungry, and i figured i could get something soft where we went. I got chili without any of the available fixins. i only ate a few spoonfuls and took the rest home. my tummy made all kinds of noises but after half an hour I still hadn't thrown up. i started trying other soft foods after that. if you don't tolerate something today, try again in a week.

    Does any1 feel like ...

I don't feel like it's a diet because the word "diet' implies something you do until you reach a desired result and then you stop doing it. I'm never getting back the 85% of my stomach that was removed but what it buys me is the life i haven't been able to live for over 10 years. For me, it's a small price.

    Hair loss men

    That's what i'm saying!
  16. Every time I read one of those posts you're talking about I feel thankful for my NUT, surgeon, and his team. They did such a great job of educating us and helping us get our attitudes in the right mindset for success.

    2 hours

2.5 to 3 hours (I use timers). Anything more than that and i start feeling weak.

    Really disgusted

This kind of learning is not a bad thing. Better to find out this way than a time when you would depend on them.

Why did I do this again?

You did this because, although there'd be some discomfort at first, in time you'd be losing weight and feeling better again.

    elliptical

Check with your surgeon first, but I don't see why a 5 minute attempt would harm you. Start with no resistance or incline and slowly and see how it feels. Up the time and other parameters if you feel comfortable.

Thank you all for the replies. If anyone else has a comment/opinion, please chime in!
  23. Differs from person to person but it was only a few days with me for the gas. The soreness went away in about a week. Ask for pain meds, don't be shy!

    ice cold water...

I guess I'll be the oddball. I've had no issues with ice cold water since surgery.
