  1. Most of the post here are from people who were sleeved July of 2013, I just didn't want you to think you have not lost like everyone else. Sounds like you are off to a great start!

  5. Onederland! Finally! Yay, I got here on my 46th birthday, also have lost over 100lbs now!
  6. I think you will be ok, the air and ice (water) would thin out the shake and it probably just went straight through. This is why we are to avoid ice cream and milkshakes. You only had 4 ozs of milk with one scoop of protein so I would not worry unless you start hurting.
  7. Wow! That is fantastic! I was sleeved on July 17th and I'm not there yet.

Just take it slow and easy, try you best to get your protein in, and your water ( you will not get it all in at first). It's going to be sore getting up obviously you know that. Sleeping in a recliner helped me. Walking also helped. Keep your eye on the prize! It's a great journey! I was 281.2 on surgery day, today I am 211! Good luck!

  19. That is great! I have a question was that 62 lbs since surgery or from the start of the per op diet?
  20. That makes me think I'm eating to much. I am allowed 4ozs. at a time and I eat 5 times a day. It's usualy 3ozs of lean protien and 1oz of a vegies maybe with some fat free cheese, or greek yogurt, or 3 ozs of low fat cottage cheese with a little fruit. In a usual day I eat at 7am, 10:30, 1;00, 4:00, and 7:00. I am managing to keep my protien at 72 grams or higher and my calorie intake to between 550- 650 a day. I workout 5 days a week, 20-30minutes cartio and 30 minutes weights. I am 3 months and 5 days post op, down 45.8 lbs since surgery, 64.4 since I started the pre op diet and feeling great!

Wow all doctors are different. I left the hospital already on purred foods and chewable vitamins from 2 days post-op! He did have me wait 4 weeks to start my Calcium. I have never vomited post-op so far! I'm 3 months out from surgery as of tomorrow! Good luck!
