Sleeved on first!! 9 down. A little bummed not more... But I am following the rules !!! Energy getting better every day!!

I got sleeved on March 1, and 5 days later I have not lost a pound!!! I am up .5 actually!! I tried to brush it off as a slow start because I got my period on day 3 or flying home etc. but to not see any losses at all when I haven't eaten since surgery is freaking me out!! How is that even possible??

I am down 8 lbs!! It seems so low to everyone else, that is my only worry these days. Everything else from surgery is fine!!

Congrats!!! I have two monsters 205 and 175. In all my past dieting these 2 numbers were where I always went back to my old ways!!! I cannot wait to be 199!! First goal and I want it before my 40 birthday in April!!! That means 10lbs in a month!! My first month!!! Any advise to keep it going down!!!

I have had those thought and moments of tears...i am in my second week and the scale is just starting to move and it is at a snails pace. I am eating cream soups now which really helped with my head hunger. But I think this will be emotional for awhile, highs if losing, lows learning to live sleeved... That's why I come here to check in and to see I am not alone

Hello new here!! 5'5" and 211.6 lbs this morning! I am 9 days post op - only lost 6.4 lbs so far, but I also am just starting to feel better... Yay!! I am going to get walking tomorrow !! I want to help keep things moving!! I am still unsure of my goal weight, I want to go by how I feel, but I would like a normal BMI which would be 140 soooo I am looking at 75 lbs to lose!!!! Yikes

I was sleeved March 1, I am jealous of some of your amazing losses!! I am finally down 6 lbs. I gained all that I lost in pre op and didn't start losing at all until 3 days ago. I am feeling pretty good, just get so tired so fast.. But I plan to get some walking in this week and build up my stamina !! Getting my fluids in and my Protein, I did move to cream Soups this weekend, I just needed something new. I made them very thin and a small bowl. But it gave me a fresh start to this week!! I needed that!! One week of full liquids and then I am on to puréed foods!! I might try to get to costco for those shakes they sound perfect!!!

Just wanted to take a moment to share my sleeve journey so far!! I researched and really searched for a docior and place could feel good about!!and after many weeks if researching and talking with a ton of companions with doctors everywhere!! I went with Dr. Aceves and I am now 12 hours out and I know I am going to be ok!! And I love my decision!! Just has to share !! If this doesn't make sense remember I am on a lit of pain meds

Anyone have to take Calcium citrate instead of carbonate???

When I had my thyroid removed the tingling fingers and toes was a serious lack of calcium??

It will be a week tomorrow and I am the same as when I left!! Hard to take......

I was at hospital at 7:30, lights out at 9:00!! My entire experience was amazing and I cannot say enough wonderful things about it. Gaby will give you or check with doctors on all nutrion questions and she usually gets back to you really quickly!!

I need some positive thoughts!! You all mentioned gaining after surgery, when did you finally see the scale move? I am a week tomorrow and nothing.... I am trying to stay logical and positive but it gets harder each day...

Thanks everyone!! I needed your responses!! It has been so crazy and hard at times I just needed to remind myself it won't happen over might!!

I am on day 5 and the new sounds from my tummy are loud!!! I get the run to the bathroom from time to time!! But I have not seen the scale move at all yet!! Sort of making me emotional all this and no reward... Logically I know it has to be happening... But I could sure use a pick me up!! I might try elliptical as well tomortow

Yep that's right folks .. No more waiting !! No more worrying about surgery!! I have been sleeved 10:30am today!! I am almost 12 hour sleeved!!! I still worry about the next stages!! But now with the fear of my life removed I am ready to get this sleeved party!!!

Not loving day 2 too much

I was told I didn't have to do one either, but I did a preop diet others were doing for the last week. Just to get used to shakes again!!!

I told a select few... I might tell people after depending on the circumstances . I decided at the end of the day this is my body and my decision, I know if I started telling someone I am open to their negative feels and opinions !

I also heard a story from my driver to Mexico. He pulled out a photo of an obese man! He was sleeved in 2009 by dr aceves!! And has lost 90lbs and kept them off.. So that was a great start to my Mexico WLS adventure when he goes on to tell me Dr.Aceves and the other doctors agreed not to charge him for their part in the surgery so he only had to pay hospital costs!!! Otherwise he would never been able to afford it!!! I am sorry but the doctors I was about to meet had warmed my heart!! And when I met them they did not disappoint!!!

I quit 2 weeks ago, I used a combination of the patch and lozenges!! I was sleeved today and surgeon said quit as possible

I am sleeved!!! Yrs painful but getting better each hour..I am pretty drugged you zoning note if this majors no sense My upper back hurts the worst hey say that is from lying I it pretty much all day
