But it didn't help in 1998 I was a size 28 and 225lb, I had the band put in and lost a lot of weight. Loved it, but 2001 it slipped and then at 2003 a second surgery due to the band slip caused an infection that made me think twice about the band. Later I had it removed after a lot of discomfort. But as you can guess, I started putting the weight on again. After two children and back up over 210lb I thought I needed to stop growing before I was back at the start again, here I am, newly sleeved and hoping I never have to do another operation again.[/color][/font][/size][color=#222222][font="Arial","sans-serif"][size=2][/size][/font][/color]
