Stay on your Pre op diet!!!! Don't cheat!! Behave!!! I'm not being critical.... I walked the hall post op with a sweet woman ... Who had the sleeve the same morning as me.... But when they got inside... Her liver was too big AND could not do the sleeve.. She confessed to not following the pre op diet through her tears..... She was so sad!!! I was so sad for her... I can't imagin having the procedure without the benefit of the sleeve.... My heart broke for her... Do the best you can on your pre-op!!! It's worth it... 20.5 lbs down .... Bless you all!!!

Sleeve done on march 5, spent 2 days at forest park in Dallas ... Wonderful staff and beautiful facility. Now 4 days post op, having pain in the left upper abdomen , it was not as simple as I thought it would be.... Everyday better and better! Love this thread , I've learned a lot from you all.. Glad I'm on the other side , good luck to all ...!!!!

I want to thank everyone who had responded to this thread .. I have sat and read all the comment and it has educated and made me feel at ease with my decisions My surgery is Tuesday , I have been on the my Pre op diet for 11 days and have lost 13 lbs... I can't believe it... I will be praying or each of you for a speedy recovery and a successful journey to your goals

I'm march 5th at forest park... Nervous and excited !!!

Hi , new to this site, and scheduled for surgery on march 5th. Been fat my whole life and have tried all ways to loose weight. Was at 282 top weight and now cash pay with dr nicholson in Dallas. 5 day on the Pre op diet of 4 protien shakes and one meal if lean meat and veggies. I'm feeling good! Very excited , very nervous ! Want to learn all I can and take advantage of this opportunity to get healthy . At 48 yrs old with a 8 year old son... I have a lot of years to go !! Send any tips or suggestions my way ... Thanks and good luck to us all!!!!
