My doctor keeps them in for a week. Most of my pain after i got home was from the drain. When they took out the drain the doctor had met take a deep breath and when I blew out he would pull some of it out. It took about three deep breaths and it was just a weird feeling not pain. Once it was out I had no more abdominal pain.

Doing my clears and my golytely bowel prep. This stuff is nasty but doing its job! Anyone else prepping this weekend?

I haven't tried the isopure I was just drinking the high protein low carb slim fast and the syntrax. Today i had 1/2 an egg and 1/2 a sausage patty for breakfast and some tuna fish for lunch. I think I'm starting to figure out when I'm full before its too much! So far both times i ate today I did not get sick! How are you doing with vitamins. I need to start taking mine during the day because i usually wait till night and then i feel so bad i can't take them cause i can't swallow one more pill.

I took pain meds until my drain was out at 7 days post op. I just took them less each day also. I was having definite incision pain and pain from my drain inside my abdomen I really didn't have much gas pain.

I have four kids. My oldest is 11 the birthday boy will be 8 then i have a 5 yr old girl and a 3 yr old boy. I have been able to drink pretty normally now. I just cannot tolerate protein shakes anymore and i know I'm not able to eat enough to get my protein in so i know my hair will be falling out soon!

Today is my first post sleeve birthday! On my way to a new life and a new year for me! I am 15 days post op so we are going for a walk with the dog and kids. No cake for me! What did everyone else do for their first birthdays?

I was sleeved 4/22 and although it was in my pre op paperwork my doctor told me they don't see any problems with the sleeve pt taking nsaids so i can have them sparingly.

I asked if he puts his pt on meds for gallbladder and reflux.

I feel so good when i wake up then by the time 8pm rolls around i start feeling nauseous and plain old bad. I am 14 days postop anyone else having this problem?

I told everyone. I figured when i was off for 4-6 weeks and then started dropping pounds they would figure it out. I've had so much support and encouragement from family and co-workers. Plus a nurse and i had it done at the hospital i work at so it was nice to have some friends come visit me when i was recovering. It is everyone's perogative What they want to do but i knew if i told my friends at work eventually it would get to everyone so i told everyone when it came up.

Congrats! I was up every morning in the hospital at 4 am walking! It really is one of the best times to get out and walk when not so many people are there. Good luck and here's to a speedy recovery.

I took my pepcid around 5 pm instead of 9 because most nights it was feeling like i had a deep burning in my chest. Tonight I'm not feeling as bad as the last two nights but I'm sure i just jinxed myself!!!

I am 13 days postop and have 4 kids and feel your pain. I have been making most of my kids meals and usually after i serve them dinner i go to bed cause I've been feeling crummy in the evening. The thing that has helped me is that I've been completely honest with my kids they know what I had done and why i had it and they offer me food but ask me if i can have it first. They really have been considerate.

I am 10 days postop and had 1/2 cheeseburger today no bun took small bits and chewed very well. I had no issues with it.

After 18 months I go annually until whenever they tell me to stop. At least 5 years for my insurance.

My doctor has his patients on pepcid twice a day for 6 months along with the actigall for 6 months postop

I was surprised with the egg cause i had a whole container of yogurt and i was fine.

I am only 10 data out and the foamies happened to me yesterday. Only ate about a tbsp of cottage cheese and a tbsp of dinty moore beef stew i didn't feel bad just all of a sudden the up foam and then was fine.

I was sleeved the 22nd and tried my first egg a couple days ago. My doctor knows about it and he was fine with it. For me the full liquids stage is 1-2 weeks. I was doing fine on the fills so i advanced after a week.

I was having a lot of pain until i got my drain out which was 1week postop. Since my drain came out I've just been sore not in bad pain.

That happened to me the first egg i had too. I felt fine eating it and 30min later i was hiccuping and nauseous. I just took a nap and when i woke up i felt fine.

I am taking 500 mcg of b12 once a day and a flinstone chewable once a day

I still have a drain on my right side so that side does hurt more for me but laying on that side actually feels better i just make sure my drain isn't underneath me. I go back and forth between the couch and bed with naps and nighttime sleeping. The first night or two i slept propped up with a pillow behind my back one behind my head and one under each arm.

My doctor told me it could take a week or two to get the recommended amount of protein and fluid ounces in.
