    I was sleeved 4/22. No problem eating the chicken and shredded lettuce. I have done fine for weeks with shredded wilted lettuce on tacos and sandwiches. I eat the inside not the shell or bread. I was not tempted to eat the taco salad shell. I did have one bite and that was enough. I ate all the chicken that was in the salad and about 1/4 of the lettuce that was in it.

    I was a total regular pop addict. I have not had any since surgery I really just stick to only water because right now everything else tastes so off that nothing tastes good.

    Even though there are signs all over my surgeons office for no nsaids my surgeon said that is more for the roux en y that I can take them. I have taken them sparingly and I do notice that I used to need 800 mg of motrin for a headache and now I only take 200-400 mg.

    Now that I started thinking about it I started back at work last week and I work nights so I've forgotten done of my morning doses of meds lately because I've gone home and right to bed! Think that's What probably did me in.

    I'm nauseous but it is not impeding my intake So I could do some sports drink all I've been doing is water and on occasion chocolate milk for the protein and laxative affect!

    I am 7 weeks out and am still do dry/dehydrated. What can I do to help this. I am drinking my water I had to get iv fluids at 4 weeks for dehydration and it got better for a couple days but now I'm right back there. Yesterday I didn't pee for 15 hours and when I did it was so dark. Thinking I may have to go get more fluids.

    I have not been counting how many ounces I get in nut I would estimate 40-60 guess I just need to up It. I was thinking of going to the ed to get some iv fluids cause I'm just feeling so dry. I wouldn't be able to go for another day though.

    Since I'm not hungry sometimes i forget that others need to eat. This afternoon my husband kept taking about going out to eat and i couldn't understand why he already wanted to go to eat. It was 12:00!

    My doctor told me before surgery that the sleeve made reflux worse and the roux en y would help it. I occasionally had it before surgery i didn't take anYthing for it but after surgery if i don't take my pepcid on time twice a day i have nasty reflux.

    I have four children. They don't ever let me forget to feed them because they eat non-stop! My husband needs to forget sometimes!

    I had my phone the tv and a puzzle book. My dad visited me each night and while he was there were would take a walk every hour. My husband also visited me with the kids. I did do a lot of sleeping though especially the first two days when my friends visited me i fell asleep while they were there. I work at the hospital i had surgery at so my friends visited me each day too.

    I was in for 4 days because i had swelling and nothing was getting past my esophagus when they did my barium swallow. Normal stay for my dr is 3 days.

    My first month i lost 33 lbs and i was eating tuna salad hot dogs bologna meatballs eggs. I was (and still am since i am only 5 weeks out) doing soft foods that are not dry or I have a sauce with then. If they are dry i throw up.

    I didn't get nervous about my stall since i have been reading about it on the boards, but it is nice to be past it! I stalled for about a week and a half and now I'll down 2 lbs from yesterday. Total of 40 lbs since surgery.

    So we had a cocktail party to go to for the wedding last night and they had chicken skewers. It was the perfect size a little dry but it went down fine and stayed down and i didn't feel sick. I think i also got the most water down yesterday since surgery.

    I was sleeved 4/22 and still have nausea. I am able to keep things down and it has been two days since i threw up but i am taking zofran twice a day and i have a scopalomine patch.

    I wore a big robe in the hospital and just put one arm in it due to the iv. Home i wore a maxi dress from old navy.
