205.5 I'm really going to do better in the next challenge! Thanks again, Bea!
-
206.4 Headed in the wrong direction :-( Yikes!
-
205.3 Yes. It is possible to gain almost five pounds in one weekend if you live in New Orleans during Jazzfest. Back at it …
-
200.4 Finally, Onderland is in sight!
-
Well, I didn't make it — weighed in at 204.0 today! I know that I didn't do so well as far as losing goes, but I've been dating a lot, which has involved a lot of food and drink, and I've had fun while not gaining. Plus, I weigh less than I've weighed in over 30 years, so I'm not going to complain too much. Now, on to onederland!

Okay! I'm really ready this time! It's warm enough to work out in the pool, and I'm ready to get rid of this weight. Count me in again, and thank you so much for taking these on every time, Bea. I know it's a lot of work, but we all appreciate it so much! Today's weight - 204.0 Goal weight - 197.0 (That's pretty optimistic considering how I've done on the last three, but I think my mind is ready now. Let's roll!)
-
208.2 Ugh! Hopefully, it will be warm enough to start getting in the pool by next week.
-
210.0 Ugh
-
211.1 Yikes!!!! I'd better get it together!
-
Here goes … Today, I'm at 206.2, and of course my goal is still 199.9. Maybe this time …
-
I'm in. My goal will be the elusive 199.9. I'll post Sunday's current weight on Sunday. Thank you so very much for doing this! I know it takes you a lot of time and effort. We all appreciate it so much!

My doctor told me to wait 8 weeks, and I waited 7 weeks, 6 days. It seemed like forever. That was honestly the worst part of my surgery. I felt completely abnormal. At the time, I was trying to keep my surgery quiet, and it was very difficult to come up with a reason to not meet someone for happy hour or have a glass of wine with dinner.

St. Patrick's Day Challenge
whodatgirl replied to Bea Amaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
208.6 Didn't make my goal and up from last week, but I've done a lot of eating, drinking, and celebrating. I'm still down from where I started, so I'm satisfied. After all, I'm still enjoying food and drink and life. It's a marathon, not a sprint. Thank you again so much for doing this! -

207.1 Yippee! What a great week — I lost what I gained during Carnival; I lost some extra; I'm out of the 210's; I've lost over 100 pounds (again - got there a few weeks ago, but …), and Onederland is in sight! Finally, I'm motivated to get this done! Thanks agin, Bea, for doing this. -
Ever able to "gulp" again?
whodatgirl replied to ForkAndMindy's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I've gulped since the day or so after surgery. I know I was supposed to sip, but I honestly just forgot. Since then, I've just continued to drink like I've always done. -
Hair Loss - A Harsh Reality. Picture of Loss.
whodatgirl replied to Madam Reverie's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm so sorry, and thank you so much got posting it. I'm a few days over nine months out, and I still haven't had any hair loss (or at least none that is significant enough for me to notice). I'm still very nervous about it, but I'm glad to have some idea of how much we're talking. I definitely couldn't afford to lose that much daily or every other day. I sure hope I'm past that stage and was just one of the lucky ones. -
St. Patrick's Day Challenge

I'm headed toward sun and sand tomorrow, but I'm worried that also includes more alcohol and good food! Good luck to us both! -

216.1 Yuck! I've been enjoying all the excesses that are Carnival! Lent is only two days away. I'll get back on track then. -
St. Patrick's Day Challenge
whodatgirl replied to Bea Amaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Definitely whatever is easiest for you!!!! Thank you for all the work you do! However, if you're counting votes, mine would be any day but Monday. (I hate to see my shortcomings in black and white.) -

St. Patrick's Day Challenge
whodatgirl replied to Bea Amaya's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
215.7 That's right. I gained 4 POUNDS! I had guests in town, and we did a lot of eating and drinking. Monday weigh-ins are hard. :-) Carnival is a time of excess, and it looks like I'm taking full advantage of that. Only 9 more days until Lent. Hopefully, I won't gain all of my weight back before then. -

I'm in if it's not too late. Monday morning - 211.7 Goal - 203 -
Bea, I'm not sure you ever "liked" my post from Friday. (I'm on my phone and can't see all of the likes.) From what I can tell, I don't think my stats have been added. If they have, sorry that I've once again added more work. Thanks again so much!

210.9 That means I broke the 100 pound loss mark with a total of 101.1 so far!!! Think I'll celebrate with a po-boy. Did I say po-boy? I meant pedicure of course. Next up: Onederland! Thanks so much for doing this. I'm ready for the St. Paddy's Day challenge. Monday weigh-ins! Yikes!
