This just started a few days ago. I am three months out. I just started these constant hunger feelings that persist regardless of how much I eat. I could finish my meal and the hunger remains. I take prescription Prilosec daily and tums as needed. I am averaging about 1,000 cal per day and around 70 or 80 grams protein. Also I don't drink fluids with my meals. Any help would be appreciated. This website has been a lifesaver!

I do eat my protein first but maybe I just need to eliminate carbs all together. I do get full and feel the restriction but the hunger feeling never leaves me. Interesting about the acid reducers, I will have to see what others experience with this. I think I may be eating too fast that could be it.

I have Medi cal and it covered this surgery. My dr made a referral based on my bmi. So it can be done!

On my, I think the one about the extra skin is so out of line. And expecting to be skinny after one week! I didn't tell anyone about this surgery except my direct family bc I didn't want to be scrutinized. The extra compliments are nice though. This guy at work told me you look a lot better now. Lol I know he meant it nicely and that is how I took it.

At least for now. We are on a trial separation. I don't know if it has anything to do with my weight loss, but his anger directed towards me has been out of control. His words have been disrespectful. I think the difference is I have more confidence so I will not tolerate it. My friends think he's feeling threatened by my weight loss and acts on that. We have a son together so we might reconcile but only after a period of time and only if he does work to show he's changed. I am very torn up about this but just hoping it gets easier each day.

My goal will be 15 pounds, I lose slowly so this is realistic for me. SW. 270 CW. 234 Halloween goal 219

Wow about your Mom! Unfortunately there is a lot of prejudice. I was secretly wanting to wait to do a job search until more weight came off because I know people Pre judge, even subconsciously. But I'll bet waiting tables is a lot easier now that you are carrying less weight. I know it's been much easier for me being on my feet now. Keep up the good work!
