I had my first drink 9 weeks post op...i am a bartender so although i dont really drink at work i do socialize and like my cocktails. I am a beer and vodka drinker and shots are always in the mix. i havent had any beer ,i scared of the bubbles and i usually use seltzer as a mix so i cant do that now either ..also the shots i havent done .. but i love my coconut vodka on the rocks with a bit of pineapple juice now or my vodka and splash of cran with lots of ice.. We have to live our lives so enjoy !!! Its just the calories i think we need to watch out for!

OMG...My anxiety was crazy after surgery ,,I am not on any steady medication for it ,nor have i ever been , but i did think about going to the dr. because it was making me crazy .. I think it had a lot to do with having to make sure i got in all fluids and protein in .. I was having lots of trouble right after surgery with the thought of not following the correct rules... It gave me much anxiety ,,then i sat back and said I only can do what my body will let me and things have gotten better. i still get anxious but its getting better..

Not getting enough protein or liquids in
yazzy replied to jandrfprever32's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I was totally in your shoes( freaked out daily) ,,i still aim for 48oz of water and 45 grams of protein if I go higher thats great. i was sleeved 10 weeks ago. . If you like ice coffee you can get decaf and put in some unflavored protein ( like a scoop has 24g) in 16 0z of water .. do it 2x a day and you will get in 48g of protein and 32 oz. of water right there. (get a nice flavored creamer). It does get better ,I promise!!! -
was about 2 weeks for me too!!!

I had my surgery march 19 also. I also have a hard time with the water intake . I am try for 6 glasses a day (struggle). Its like a job and i hate it. I use decaf ice coffee alot (I add protein in it ). I do some crystal lite also . It just seems theres not enough time in the day cause when I eat i dont want to drink for hours cause i am so full. also try some warm drinks herbal teas and decaf hot coffee. I hope it gets easier. By the way how you doing with the protein ,,since we are sleeved the same day wanted to know how thats goin for you ?
