I had my first fill today - do not feel any different, absolutely no restriction at all. I didn't have any restriciton after my surgery either. When is this all suspose to happen???
I only lost 6 pounds in five weeks from pres-surgery to today's fill. Very frustrated.
I was banded on the 24 of May, one week ago today and I had been feeling okay until yesterday when I started having severe side ache pains. Called doctor and am scheduled to see him tomorrow. Layed around all day today. Nice to read that it gets better..,...eventually.
Umm, I was banded 3 days ago and I seem to be tolerating the clear liquids just fine. Have been told by my MD that I can start on mush. Any suggestions? And I am terribly bruised and very, very sore from the surgery. Hard for me to get up from a sitting position. Is this normal? Also, very swollen and tight in mid section. My MD told me to wear loose fitting clothes for awhile. If I had loose fitting clothes I probably wouldn't need banding in the first place! Ha-Ha
Plus I heard, or I have been reading, that a lot of people do not have their first fill for three to four months, is that right? So, if that is true, we aren't restricted during that time? Why would they wait so long? Ohhh, so many questions.......
Just had lap banding yestrday. Feeling okay. Very sore when I get up from a sitting position. Really don't know what to expect from here. I mean I know that I will get fills, etc., but what else to experience? Any one with experiences they can share?
I have had absolutely know problems getting my liquid down. In fact, I feel like I could eat a full meal (I won't) but feel that I could. Will this feeling change after my first fill?
Thanks for any comments anyone has for me.
