Children's Clay 1 cup cornstarch 1 cup cold Water 1/2 cup baking soda Combine cornstarch & baking soda in saucepan; add water. Cook on medium heat til mixture boils & is clay like. Remove from & knead on cornstarch dusted surface until it reaches the right consistency (clay). Cover with damp cloth & cool. Store in plastic bag. You can also roll out to desired thickness on cornstarch dusted surface & cut with cookie cutters, bake @ 250 degrees for 1 1/2 hours, paint, dry & varnish, to make christmas decorations. Use straw to make hole for hanger. I have done this & they look really great!

My port was tilted also. The doc couldn't access it at all. I had my surgery in January of this year & was not able to get the port fixed til the end of April. Then I didn't get a good restriction with fills until a few weeks ago. From what I have read on here though, I think there are a couple of people with tilted ports who are just living with them like that cause their doc is still able to access them. The procedure to fix my port was a breeze! No gas! lol! It is an outpatient procedure. Basically they go back in & open up the same scar that they used before. It cost me $700. I was self-pay. Hope this helps!

Help I Must Quit Smoking I Can Do This Right.
Jessiebear replied to ladysplenda's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I'm quitting too! I have quit before (for 5 years) & then like an idiot started back. It was not the easiest thing I ever did, but it was doable. I'm going by the Farmer's Almanac this time. It says that September the 19th is a good day to quit. I wish you lots of luck!! And just know that you are not alone! (((((hugs))))) -
