Stuffed Feta chicken Breasts 1 package of skinless boneless chicken breasts or tenders 1 (4 oz.) pkg. feta cheese 1/2 tsp. basil 1 tsp. pimentos or oil packed sundried tomatoes chopped 2 TBLS. Hellman's Mayo or plain yogurt 1/4 tsp. cavenders seasoning If using chicken breasts, using a knife, make a pocket cutting into the side of the breasts. Mix the feta, basil, pimentos or tomatoes, mayo or yogurt & cavenders. Spoon into pocket made in the chicken breasts. Place stuffed chicken breasts in greased casserole dish. If any filling is left over, spoon over top of chicken breasts. Season with more cavenders. Cover casserole with foil. Bake in preheated, 350 degree oven for 35 - 45 minutes, taking foil off in the last 10 minutes of baking. If you use chicken tenders - Place chicken tenders in greased casserole & spoon feta mixture over top of tenders. Sprinkle with more Cavenders. Cover with foil & bake as directed above. I didn't have sun dried tomatoes or plain yogurt so I improvised with pimento & Hellman's Mayo. It was wonderful! I think if you rolled the chicken in some shake-n-bake it would be even better. Enjoy!

Actually, I have made a cook book! I asked everyone in the family to send me their favorite recipes. I made it a couple of years ago for Christmas presents. That's where all these recipes came from. LOL! I am a cook book addict though. I look up new ideas on the net all the time. Thanks to everyone for their recipe contributions to this thread! They all sound wonderful! Keep em coming! We could end up with a LBT cook book here!

Accidentally hit an artery during my first fill!
Jessiebear replied to Rockin' Robyn's topic in LAP-BAND Surgery Forums
I would go for fluoro! My doc tried to do my first fill without fluoro & it was an awful experience. Since having to reposition my port due to it flipping, I get all my fills done under fluoro. Sorry you had to go through this! Hope everything goes smooth for you from here on out! -
Cool! I'm happy for you! Feels good when everything clicks!

I think that there may be something to quitting when the Farmer's Almanac says it's a good day to quit. I have attempted to quit many times without success. This time was so easy, I'm not grumpy & i'm not eating everything in sight! I don't know. It might be something to think about if you are wanting to quit. If anyone is interested, it is showing Sept. 29, Oct. 26 & Oct. 31, as the next best days to quit smoking. Good luck!

I feel your pain sister! I was put on a blood pressure med that contains HCTZ a few months after I was banded. Since I have lost my last 10 lbs., my ankles quit swelling, so I know it is just a matter of time before I can come off the BP med. I have been checking my BP religiously. I know that you will get there too! Probably soon! Keep your chin up!

I'm not a closet bandster, but I wish I were! I hate the fish bowl effect that is happening right now. They watch everything I do! & everyone is so quick to criticize. Congrats on your surgery date & good luck to you! -
