This is a big NSV! Congrats!

Since I lost this last 10 lbs & have been exercising, I seem to have more energy too. I noticed it this weekend. I usually am a couch potato over the weekend, but my hubby kept looking at me oddly & I finally realized it was because I was cleaning! On a weekend! LOL! Feels good doesn't it?!

Ummmmm.... Yeah! I think I was in denial for about 7 months. Total depression. Didn't know what to do. Even scared to lose the weight! I finally realized I am a valuable person & so worthy of this band & this weight loss! I too have replaced food (my drug of choice) with exercising - if my back allows me to. If not, I read or crochet, or I come here. This board & all the people on it have helped me more than anything! Hang in there! At least you figured this out fairly quickly! I promise, you will get better! I would be leary of the valium too at this point. Good luck to you! (((((HUGS)))))

Don't you just want to tell them to "stick it"! I'm not gonna suggest it, but don't you wanna! So sorry you had to go through that. Support means a lot no matter where it comes from, but it means even more when it comes from family. I hope they come around! But if they don't, it's their problem! Sounds like they have issues anyway! We're here for you!! (((((((HUGS))))))) And I'm proud of you!

I just wanted to say welcome! You sound like you need support & I think you came to the right place to get it! Everyone here is wonderful! I hope that everything works out for you! Some people have to really fight for their band & it is almost handed to others (& then the rest of us pay for it ourselves...LOL). Keep us updated on how things are going! (((((((hug))))))

I know! Before my fills I could still eat & drink at the same time with no problem. All I could think was they are crazy, "don't drink with meals!" But you find out why this is a rule after a fill or two. It will send you into PB hell if you are not careful! Trust me you get used to not drinking while eating!

You know, when I was on the liquid diet I was notorious for just reading recipes. My husband would get on to me. LOL! The torture we put ourselves through!

Totally normal to be freaked out! This is a life altering decision you are making. But it's altering it in a good way! Hang in there! It'll be over before you know it! Even though my weight loss has been slow, I don't regret my decision in the least!

Welcome & congrats! What you are feeling & going through is totally normal. I won't say most, but a lot of people don't lose, stop losing & even gain weight in the first weeks after surgery. You should consider this time the "healing time". Don't fret! It will happen! Also don't forget that it may take more than one fill to reach proper restriction. Good luck to you! I ordered a catalog! I thought I had never heard of Watkins until I saw their lemon shea butter cream & realized I had bought some at Wal-Mart. It was wonderful! I'm planning on ordering some stuff for Christmas presents. Thanks!
