So my pre surgery was over 70 grams of protein less than 30 carbs. So I have been doing eggs , turkey meat, turkey sausage, chicken breast, Company dinner tonight at BBQ place. So I did just a little sausage, turkey, and lean brisket- very little sauce. Yesterday did salad with olives and turkey meat. Very low carb Italian dressing ....so I am staying under on my carbs. Hitting my protein. But that is what was asked of us. It's odd with all the variances. So hopefully what I have done is ok. Doing my surgery on the 24th

Well 3 weeks from tomorrow is my surgery. Scared and yet knowing I need it,,,just hoping I can do all the right things afterwards and not feel like I rushed into this decision or that I cannot have a good life after...to many things we do are based on food, dinner outs, parties etc....big changes needed.

    June 24th is my date
  8. Well I just scheduled my date- June 24 for my VS - a bit scared and worried and suppose that will only get worse the closer I get.........still trying to learn as much as I can,,,,i know its a major change.....just need to understand the impacts and what to expect so I can best deal with it. Will have my partner here, but not sure he fully understands the changes that will occur. I am 6'3 about 400 - mainly all in the gut chest - so looking forward to getting down below 250 in time.
