My doc has givin me the go for purée food yay actual taste. Went down ok 1/2 a cup of purée Soup. But intergestion is coming . Did any one else get that when going on to purée food ?

Yay super happy I'm now on full liquids and next week purée so it's passing good. My surgeon said that he wouldn't think I has surgery last week. But I'm not sore at all and feeling pretty good and 7.5kg down so it's good. Just wanted to update Start gym Monday

Thanks. I got back to the dr on Wednesday they have me a hand out book but it contradicts its self on every stage so left me thinking what the..... So I will just keep with the first liquids and then see what he says Thanks

I'm doing better now. And loosing. I did have alot of gas and tummy spaz's but apart from that I'm fine. Though sometimes dizzy and light headed. I was kinda feeling sorry for my self the first 4/5 days but today way alot better. Tomorrow is a week since surgery I weighed in this morning and has lost 6.5kg since pre op. I'm only 0.8kg away fr my first goal. So that's exciting. I know the weightloss will slow down but it was a positive. I'm having trouble wanting to bite into my fiancé food. I don't buy I miss actually biting into stuff. It's funny his food makes my tummy rubble which puts me in alot of pain lol

My doctor told me I was gonna have a fatty liver one week before surgery . If been on a shake and veg salad / chicken diet ( dinner) for a month so I was kinda pissed when he said it would be fatty anyway. BUT come surgery he told me my liver as actually really good. So I was happy with that. I would recommend two shakes a day the. A portion controlled dinner veg or salad with chicken or fish .

How are u guys going and feeling? I'm getting better with ever day but still feeling a little weird. Yesterday I weighed and had lost 4.5kg so was happy with that. Missing biting into anything though. All this sipping is starting to get annoying BUT worth it all in the end I know. Hope ur all doing good

Well I'm 5 days out and I just stood on scale for the first time and iv lost 4kg (8pounds) since surgery weight. so I'm happy since I'm feeling boated still. Very happy since the pre diet all I lost was 4kg over a month??? Was starting to have down days over this whole thing but now Im feeling alot better

I'm three days out but seem to have lack of variety for what I can have. Soup broth and optifast. Any ideas would be great. Gas is finally starting to move out which is great

I'm only almost four days out so I know not yet. But what week did people start working out. I know as of next Monday I should be able to take longer walks. As now I'm only walking around the house to get rid of gas which is so much better than the last two/three days some advice would be good as my last few posts iv got no response so I'm I'm feeling very overwhelmed since most questions I can't get answers for till I see my dr but that 5 days away Also anyone get a little sad in the first few days. I'm ok I just never know if I'm eating enough soup or not enough. There isn't as much I do available of list of things I can eat apart from liquid soups and optifast so it's a little hard not to her board . I know juices are not recommended but at there any that are ok. Water is getting really old and I normally live water Any help would be muchly appreciated Oxoxox Kooks

I was so scared when on hot mine down on Monday I always feared I wouldn't wake up but I had nothing to worry about silly nerves and now I feel so silly I was so scared about the whole thing. Mine went well I had two nights in hospital but the morphine was gooooooood! Second day was sore and third day better today will Be my forth day and my gas is slowly going, that's the worst part. And the tummy grumble like things they hurt but bearable. Good luck miss let us know how ur going. Sleeping on my back I hate but now I can kinda sleep on my side so I'm getting more sleep in. Well I'm home and three days out. I was so scared of the operation and not waking up but that was just silly . I spent two nights in hospital a Nd so far so good. The gas though omg! Hurts so much it's not in my shoulder which is good It was when I woke up but it went quickly. I had. First BM today to so looks like its going all good. Just the pain in the Tum every now and then kind like a stomach rumble I'm not hungry but I feel it and if I'm low on pain relief I really feel it. I'm on soup but Im counting down the two-three weeks till I can have mash potato or something real. I was on the pre diet for a month so I miss a real food substance. Anyway I'm going to get up for another walk around the house. Thanks to all that supported me in the pre op group. Now I'm in post op whoooop whoooop Oxoxo kooks

I got out about 1:30 pm all went well just been sleepy. Was ailly to worry much xox Will talk more when with it more
