  1. I was sleeved February 20th, I'm down a total of 81lbs. (24 before surgery and 57 after) No more blood pressure meds, met my 1st goal of 199lbs., no longer wear plus size clothes and I feel amazing!!! Everyone on here should be proud of themselves....all this hard work pays off!

    Twonderland!

Great work.....you should be very proud of yourself! :0)
  3. I hit my 3 month mark last week. Sometimes I have a stall, but it doesn't help that I have OCD about weighing myself everyday!!! Before the thought of weighing myself made me cringe and now I can't stop doing it! I make sure the proteins always come first then I wait a little bit and if I still feel hungry I might indulge in a carb or two. I'm doing well with sticking to lean meats....chicken, turkey, tuna and lean ground beef. The hardest part is making sure you get enough of the protein and water. Sometimes I feel like it's impossible! However I do not regret getting this surgery, it's one of the best decision I have ever made!

I'm getting closer too......can't wait to do the happy dance! Congrats on your 199 victory.
  5. You deserve 100 gold stars! Simply amazing......congrats on your success.

    Non-scale victory today!

Congrats! I love to hear about all the success everyone is having.
  7. Are you a fan of chili? I make it with really lean hamburger and extra kidney beans.....lots of protein!!! It doesn't upset my stomach, however I don't make it spicy.
  8. I had the 1 incision through the belly button. It healed very quickly and the pain didn't last very long. Honestly, my 2 c-sections were more painful!
  9. It's been 3 weeks since my surgery and I've had brief episodes of being light headed. Not a big deal, after all I just had surgery and I feel exhausted most of the time. Well yesterday I took my dog to the vet and while speaking to the vet I had another spell, but this time I totally passed out. I woke up on the floor to the vet asking me if I'm ok. I was so embarrassed and scared at the same time. I've never fainted before. My post op appointment said I had low levels of iron and vitamin D and I am taking medicine for that. Has anyone else experienced this???

    So embarrassed!

I take pills for iron twice a day so I know that's ok.

    So embarrassed!

Went to the doctors and my blood pressure was 98/58. Way to low! So I am no longer taking blood pressure meds. Something I have been looking forward to, but didn't expect for it to happen only 3 weeks out of surgery. So glad I decided to go to the doctors. :0)

    So embarrassed!

I've been on blood pressure for almost 7 years.....one of the reasons for having this surgery. My blood pressure meds did change after my surgery. I will be calling my doctor today.

    Pre-op diet

I've noticed there are a lot of people saying they have a liquid diet for up to 2 weeks before surgery. In my case, I'm only required to do that the day before surgery. What factors decide on the amount of days? My surgery is on February 20th.
