Woke up feeling sore but not entirely terrible. Kind of like I did a bunch of sit ups. Took the morphene just to see if it would help and didn't really care too much for it, nor did I really need it. Bladder was full and I was tired. Really no big deal.

I never go anywhere without a small bottle of papaya enzyme tablets. Chew 3 or 4 when you get that feeling and it soon subsides. Works great helping digest food.< /p>

Sincerely hope that's all behind you now......

I am a bit over four months out, I do not feel like my old self. A bit more introverted and tired sometimes, but overall good. I have noticed the energy is coming back with a vengeance. The more I workout, the better I feel.

I think that two married people having it done at the same time is a great idea. You can support each other throughout the entire process. Definitely think the sleeve is the way to go.

I usually have papaya enzyme tabs close by in case I need them. Work great in helping speed digestion.

I had no preop diet so I went absolutely insane eating until midnight before the surgery. You'll be just fine.

Try chewing some papaya enzyme. Works great for digestion.

My surgeon says 2x is fine for caffeine. Usually stick to tea.

Yes! It used to happen to me in the middle of the night. The reflux was tolerable but the metallic taste was truly vile. I would take a Pepcid Complete or two and go back to bed. Has not happened to me for a while though. I think it's fairly common and quite normal.

I am not sure of the failure rate here but I really think the percentages are quite small. If you try to eat more than you should, your body will inform you in a not too subtle way. Your chances of success are of course not guaranteed but you have an excellent shot. I think that if you have the surgery and end up gaining your weight back it has to be the result of a concerted effort to do so. Yesterday I had a Subway 3" tuna sub and it felt like I just had a porterhouse. You'll be just fine.

Try Palmer's Firming Butter. Works great.

I went crazy eating. Was sleeved 2 1/2 weeks after my initial consultation and probably gained close to 10 lbs before surgery.

I was lucky. My first doctor's appointment was Valentines Day and I was sleeved on March 4. I had no pre op diet instructions or restrictions and basically ate everything in sight for those 2 plus weeks. Last meal was a chili dog, onion rings and a vanilla milk shake. I have a pic of it in my phone.
