Surgery went great. 4 weeks later back in hospital for hernia repair, almost died, kidneys shut down, developed C-diff, got blood clots in each leg, had to go on dialysis. 45 days later was finally released from the hospital. 8 months later and I still can't eat eggs or tomato sauce.
