I'm on a liquid diet (600 - 800 cal and 80 grams protein and I've lost 5 pounds in a week but hit a stall as well. Its so frustrating that you aren't eating and STILL not loosing. Good luck to you.

Oh how I wish I could have my surgery at Womans. My insurance only covers Dr. Richardson in New Orleans. The good thing is they reimburse me for my gas and food and when I have surgery they will pay for my husband to stay in the hotel that is in the hospital. So I guess its not so bad after all.

Good Luck to all of the sleevers today. I'm on day 6 of my liquid diet and 8 days out from surgery. I can officially say my surgery is NEXT WEEK! Super excited and can't wait!

Dr. William Richardson at Ochsner in New Orelans. He is the only one my Insurance Company will pay to use. I have to use a Center of Excellence. MK 1986 who is doing your surgery and where? Sunshine Girl G, Where are you in LA? I'm currently on my two week liquid diet and I won't lie its been hard. Expecially when your mom calls you and tells you she just cooked crawfish etouffee.

Starting my pre-op diet March 1st. I know it will be a hard two weeks of nothing but liquid. I am from Louisiana you know and we are known for our food. LOL I guess thats what got me in this position in the first place. Here is my request. I am trying to find positive sayings about this journey to print out and put all over my house so no matter where I look while on the two week liquid diet I will remember why I have started this journey in my life. So if anyone has any quotes, personal sayings or any thing at all, Please post them here so I can add them to my list. Thanks!

I'm with you PeacockMama. I start my Pre-op diet on March 1st. Ordered Unjury samples to try out. Also making lots of soup this weekend so I can drink the clear broth. I just can't do the can broth. Good luck to you and lets keep each other posted on our progress.
