  1. Freeze a bottle of water and then just sip it as it thaws. I have had a hard time to with water but this does help. I couldn't drink water at first but my dr told me to do it this way so I'm not getting big drinks at a time. I would try putting your meds in applesauce and maybe splitting them before you put them in applesauce also helps. Good luck and hope this helps!!
  2. I have lost 39lbs since surgery 1/22/13. I'm very happy with my progress but I have this fear that the wt loss will just stop! The most I have ever lost before surgery was about 50lbs. I can't imagine losing more than that, I guess because it never has happened. I'm afraid one day it will just stop! I want to lose about 114 more but can't imagine it!!! Has anyone else ever thought this isn't real or can't imagine that you will eventually reach your goal!! Crazy???

    ? On nausea

I was nauseated from the day I left the hospital but quickly learned that I had to eat something every 2 hrs. Since eating every few hours my nausea has been so much better. I also eat some protein right before I go to bed and that has helped me with the morning nausea. Hope this helps!!!
  4. I had surgery on 1/22/13 and I'm down 37lbs.
  5. I'm about 7 weeks out from surgery and my bloodwork has been ok but I continue to have terrible thigh pain. My thighs ache horrible. Also having headaches about every other day. Has anyone else has this! I'm so sick of hurting all the time. I want so bad to enjoy this weight loss but with all this hurting and no energy, I'm pretty frustrated!!!!
  6. I'm 6 weeks out and have lost 35. I'm still not taking the vitamins, eating protein like I should and definitely not drinking like I should! I have daily headaches and I feel exhausted! I'm trying to improve my diet but I had nausea so bad after surgery that I'm afraid the vitamins will make the nausea come back. Water still makes me nauseated. My dr is aware. He says give it time and it could take up to 3 months for the nausea to go away. I know I need to start vitamins and attempt to get all protein and fluids in but I hate being nauseated! Any suggestions?
  7. I am 1 month out from surgery. This weekend started having bad leg cramps/aches. Thinking maybe potassium may be low but not sure. Also very fatigued! Any suggestions???
