do not look if squemish- yellowing around incision site

Looks good, healing very well. I had bruising around my incisions and it took them a few days before they appeared and it took a couple weeks for them to disappear. -

I have a 17 lb 4 month old and I had no problems lifting him and carrying him even in his car seat. I was sleeved on march 27, 2013. I was lifting him 4 days post surgery.

I am fantastic! I had no problems at all, I am back to normal minus the food. Still on full liquids, some days it's hard to drink as stomach spasms a bit but I wouldn't call it painful, just crampy. I am lifting my kids with no problems too. I am down 14 pounds and loving the fact I got my sleeve! I find it very difficult to get protein in at this stage but in 2 weeks I will be eating protein so I am not overly concerned.

Good luck to you guys only 2 days left. Momiffivwcantwait. I opted for sleeve because I didn't like that so many people banded where going back for revision and I thought bypass was too much of a gastric surgery for me. Plication I was worried that you could never know what's going on in the part of the stomach that is sewin up. So sleeve was my best option. I hope your results are good. Praying for you.

Any March Sleevers?
LifesaverP3 replied to futuresleever's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgery is in 2 weeks (march 27)! I am very excited about this. Not nervous yet. I have started the pre op diet even though I only needed to do it 2 days prior to surgery. I have lost 7 pounds so far. Pre op starting weight 223, current 216 height 5' 7". Goal 130. I think I am more excited than anything to know that all the work this time that I put into loosing will stay off. 1.5 years ago I was 146 pounds then a pregnancy happened and it all came back plus. This is my heaviest weight ever. I love reading everyone's stories, it's so motivational. -
HIIT cardio=Puke, am I doing it right lol

I do understand how you feel! I lost 90 lbs two years ago and just over a year ago got pregnant. I delivered in November having gained it all back plus some. What a disappointment! I worked so hard to get it off and even became a personal trainer while doing it. So it was a quick decision for me to get the sleeve but its the only way I know I will keep the weight off. I have 3 kids and I understand how you can let things I to the back burner but I am glad to hear you are doing something for yourself that will also benefit your family too! I love all the success stories, and just think you are on your way to one of them, proud of you for your determination! -

Yes your cardio intervals are good. The vomiting was normal too as you pushed yourself hard. Heart rate is ok but try to keep it under 170 for sure and not for the full cardio session. Keep changing up your intervals too, it doesn't allow your body to get used to it and slowing increase your high intervals. You are doing an awesome job, keep it up!! -
I am super excited! My sleeve surgery is March 27 in TJ at OCC. I am not nervous about the surgery itself but definitely a little about what life is going to be like after, I am not telling friends or family members as I know there is no way they would approve. I will have my husband, 3 kids, and my parents to help support me through the process. I am sure eventually I will end up telling people because my eating habits are going to change drastically, and when I return back to work after maternity leave I should hopefully be down more than 50 pounds. I am thankful for VST and the great information I am getting from other sleevers! Thank you! I am tired of the weight even though I only just put it all back on in the past 9 months. Prior to my pregnancy I was 150 lbs but worked ridiculously hard to be there. I can't wait to get back at that weight or a little less with the help of my sleeve. From what I hear the sleeve is not easy breezy either but it will never allow me to over eat or say oh tomorrow I will get back on my diet. I am in fact nervous about loosing weight pre op that I am starting my liquid diet on Monday February 25 because I am not convinced that I can loose the required 11 pounds I need to loose in the 2 weeks prior. i would be devastated if I didn't lose enough and they cancelled my surgery. Do others feel this way?
