Four weeks to go!!!!!

Tijuana with Dr. Fernando Garcia. I'm excited and terrified. I've seen lots of people prepped way ahead of time for this surgery. I just scheduled the other day and it seems eons away, but it's just five short weeks away!

March 28th!!!!!!!!! Can anyone tell I'm excited?!

I am getting sleeved March 28th in Tijuana. I live in Chandler, work in Scottsdale. Are there any support groups in the area? Are you all still thinking of starting one? I'm worried about my post op activity and weight loss. I don't want to be that person who fails.

iPhones have FaceTime. It's also similar to Skype. But it's pretty spotty, cuts out way too much. Google Plus is much better, I think. And anyone with a smart phone can download the app.

I make up for it in chocolate!

I love FOOD! But I can't stand peanut butter, bananas or coconut. Yuck.

I look forward to meeting all of you! I'm a little apprehensive about going alone to Mexico and going through surgery without any loved ones by my side. I'm grateful ya'll will be there going through similar experiences.

I've never had to wear compression stockings before, so I had to google all the different sizes and uses. I finally decided what I needed and went shopping online. Boy oh boy, they are bland and UGLY for the most part! I finally discovered some blue leopard print! Ordered them from rejuvahealth.

I'm flying in from Phoenix, arriving in San Diego around nine am. I proposed that time to alma when I was scheduling and she said it would be fine. I'm not sure if there is a time limit. The only additional thing she said is that I will need to wear compression stockings in flight. As well as adhere to the no food or drink for eight hours (that will be tough, I always get dehydrated while flying). I look forward to meeting you! Where are you coming from? Are you traveling alone? I will be:)

Confirmed and scheduled! I fly in to San Diego 3/28, surgery same day with Dr Garcia. Fly out April first.

I'm going to schedule for the 28th or 29th with Dr. Garcia at MiDoctor. Calling alma in the morning to set everything up!

After even more research I am still going with Fernando Garcia. I spoke with Alma today, she was most helpful in answering my questions. I am going to schedule sometime mid April, as soon as I can confirm time away from work. I am very excited! This is the ultimate solution to my lifelong battle with weight.
